Sam Winchester
24 January 2012 @ 08:04 am
Hey guys. If you don't know me, my name's Sam Winchester. You probably know my brother, Dean.

[Sam grins, almost gleefully.]

What you might not know is that it's his birthday today. And I wanted to get him something he'll remember forever. And I thought that if you guys wanted, you could help me.

This is Dean. [He holds up a picture.] Here's my plan, and it won't take you even a minute. Everyone who wants to, when you see Dean today, give him a slap on the ass and call him 'DeeDee.' For extra points, don't explain yourself or anything, just act like nothing happened. I know that's a weird thing to ask of strangers, but I know a lot of you know him and a lot of you who don't will think it's funny anyway. It will be awesome, I promise. And I'm totally going to deny all knowledge, so don't even try to pin this on me.

Oh, and if you think this is some lame family crap, and you don't want to get involved, you're probably right and that's cool. But I figure if we get even ten or so people it'll be hilarious.

Thanks guys! I'll owe you one.

[ooc: If you want to drop in on the party Sam's throwing, there's an open post in a bar.]

Cassian...I need to speak with you.

[A pause, and then:]

He knows.

Dean Winchester

[Dean is going about his day. Normal day. Nothing to see here. He does seem extra restless though. It's Dean's birthday. He hates his birthday. In fact, the only thing he hates worse than his birthday is Sam's birthday. Birthdays in the Winchester household tend to be horrible, really, really horrible. Because of this, he's walking around the City, wandering all over for most of the day rather than driving everywhere. He's pretty much lost in thought, wary and waiting for the other shoe to drop. Stop, have a chat, drink some coffee with him. Clearly he's not caffeinated enough at this point.]

[ooc: Corresponds to this. Have at him.]

[Ken's situated in the library, books strewn out around him, but currently they're pushed to the side, his attention on the device, expression thoughtful.]

Rapunzel-san mentioned stars the other day. I decided to tell some stories from my home world about them, along with the names I recall, and look through the library for other stories and names.

However, it made me realize some of us may be from the same world, but you would still know stories and legends of the stars I don't. And there are other people from other worlds that would have completely different stars, and different stories.

Would you please share your stories of stars from home with us?

[He's expecting someone (three someones at different times), but feel free to answer in person, run across him in the library by chance, bug him about the books, anything.]

Hinamori Amu
24 January 2012 @ 07:03 pm
[The video feel turns on and you can see right away that Amu is in the Hall of the Missing, there's a momentary glimpse that portrait of Ikuto she's looking at before the view shifts since she's heading on her way back out of that place] -- really gone this time, that confirms it.

That idiot, it figures. People leave all the time, I guess that's nothing new, huh? It looks like I'm on my own here again too, kind of.

[Amu just lets out a sigh. At this point she knows her device is on so she decides to say something more as a way to distract herself from being upset] Anyway, I have a question...I know that probably varies but I'm curious. Say if you have a pet, how do you go about deciding on a name? I could probably use a few tips on that sort of thing.

I heard history's written only by winners but I gotta hand it to the guys who made it today almost sixty fucking years ago.

Thank you for canning beer. Nobody loses.
