(SHODAN is sending out a broadcast message...but it will not be traceable to her unless you are a god of hacking. If you are, let me know. :) She is, after all, a super-AI...

The voice is a neutral and neuter one, robotic in its tone, not human like her body's or skipping and mutilated like her AI tone. It's synthesized up just for this.)

The Clock is the City's life and death.

Now is your chance to observe it.

Ignorance will be our destruction.

(And a set of coordinates appears here. They are for a location in the City. If you want to join up with whoever-it-is to search the Clock, a little robot emissary will be waiting for you at the coordinates. It will be there until someone shows up, or until it's clear the post is ignored.)

If anyone I know here wishes to, I am awake and about in the hospital. It is interminably dull here.

...What I'm saying is, someone get over here and say something, or I will end up pulling the nerves out of the back of my head trying to get rid of the ticking.

Also, if you know about the clock's workings, I would like to know, because if the new authorities here are at all incompetent, they just might end the multiverse.

We may want to do something about that before it happens.

Ping...

Ping...

If anyone in the City is receiving this message, this is a distress beacon programmed into the device of Rebecca Siddons, set to deploy if her vital signs begin to decay. Following this message is her current location.

(A set of coordinates broadcasts, which will set a ping on any map that cares to set them, like GPS or some such.)

Repeat: if anyone in the City is receiving this message, this is a distress beacon programmed into the device of Rebecca Siddons, set to deploy if her vital signs begin to decay. Following this statement is her current location.

(A repeat of the coordinates.)

(ooc: SHODAN has been shot, and her automated distress beacon is telling people that she is basically incapable of taking herself to medical help. If anyone wants to assist her, she's lying near the edges of the City proper, near the forest, in an alley. This follows the Naoi fight in this thread: http://poly-chromatic.dreamwidth.org/1055615.html )

This looks familiar, and the last two times I heard of it, it went poorly for the people involved. When the leaders have so much power, a revolution requires finesse, planning, and information flow between members. Does anyone in the City besides the anonymous rebel group actually know anything that is going on here?
