[And out of the well-lit interior of the office building out into the considerably brighter City. Naoi's being shoved outside, hauled out by security.

The communicator he's swinging so carelessly, seemingly unaware of the fact that it's recording, shows a familiar raven-haired girl likewise being taken outside.

Evidently, they were trying to snoop around the Deities' office building, when through one fault or another (good bets on "ruckus and mayhem"), they were caught.]

[Utsuho gets summarily chucked out with him. Ow. She tumbles head over feet as she gets hurled from the door like a sack of potatoes. A bit of smoke is still wafting out the door to the office.]

[Naoi frowned, adjusting the jacket of his gakuran, lfting the collar to try and hide his bruising cheek from landing face-down on the ground.]

[Normally, he'd reject a display of concern because it didn't suit his image, but he had happily accepted her comfort before, so he saw no reason to reject it now. Still, he did want to maintain some sense of decorum in light of their pitiful defeat, so he averted his gaze and sharpened his glare.]

Don't worry. It doesn't even hurt. [A lie, but he's been through worse. He points at the building.] We're going to need to need a plan that's more well-put-together. We can't just barge in like we own the place!

Yes, we might need more people... not too many... if there are too many of us, of course, we'll rouse their suspicions even faster than we just did.

Except, huh, apparently she can fly without wings -- she drops down from over the top of the building in question and catches herself smoothly before her feet would strike the ground. She hovers there, about an inch over the ground, and sighs at the pair of them. Her expression says What Did You Do?]

[Well, when she shows up and gives him that look, he can't help but look cowed, hanging his head and putting his hands on his knees, half-bowing in an apologetic gesture, but his expression's still stubbornly resolute.]

[She looks at Utsuho, who is doing her best "I'm a good bird I swear" expression, then back at Naoi. Letting herself come to rest on the stones, she turns and looks back at the building behind all of them. It's an imposing structure, to say the least, and breaking in must be no small feat.]

...You walked in with no knowledge at all of what is inside?
