[And out of the well-lit interior of the office building out into the considerably brighter City. Naoi's being shoved outside, hauled out by security.

The communicator he's swinging so carelessly, seemingly unaware of the fact that it's recording, shows a familiar raven-haired girl likewise being taken outside.

Evidently, they were trying to snoop around the Deities' office building, when through one fault or another (good bets on "ruckus and mayhem"), they were caught.]

[Because as much as he would hate to admit it, even to himself, this plan needed at least one other person and Nagito might just be the person for the job, even if he didn't exactly find him trustworthy.]

The mission is set to unfold three days from now. They'll be on guard for today and tomorrow. On the third day, they likely won't suspect a thing.

The briefing can be done here, in front of the building, or in my apartment at [x,y] for maximum confidentiality. Which do you choose?

The reason for his delay is because he decided to get caught in a gun versus blade fight with crazy AI for no reason except that he was bored and needed something to pass the time.]

[Utsuho will drift over there after Naoi leaves, because she realizes a little too late that she has forgotten exactly what they were going to do afterward. But hey! Her little bird brain can certainly remember "when in doubt, go to the person's house." So she does.

When either Nagito or Naoi show up, Utsuho is sitting by the door, taking a nap.]

[And Naoi will follow not too long after, faster than he expected, but looking much worse for wear than earlier: he's walking with a lurch, one hand tucked inside his jacket, revealing a bloodstained shirt and similarly red bandages around the arm he's left at his side.]

Was that supposed to be a joke?
