As far as curses go, this isn't so bad. Sure beats some of the ones that happened earlier this month, and at least it's raining pictures instead of, like, cats and dogs. [ because she wouldn't put it past the city to rain actual cats and dogs.

liz can be seen shuffling through some of the pictures she's collected. she recognizes the people in some, but not others. if anything, the worst damage these photos seem to be causing is a case of supreme embarrassment - or so she believes until she comes upon a certain photograph, and instantly finds herself regretting her "this isn't so bad" proclamation minutes before. she holds it up, eyes wide, forgetting that the device is still on. ]
...oh. This is-- [ she doesn't know what, even if that pink hair seems familiar, but staring at it feels wrong and she quickly places it at the bottom of the stack, face down. ]

[ all the music's stopped. thank god. that was like living below incredibly noisy neighbors who wouldn't shut their music off. not that liz had ever experienced that back home in roswell, but her the family who lived above her aunt's in florida weren't exactly the quietest people. at least they didn't blast music all day long, that would've been intolerable. as it were, she only made it through this recent event by plugging in headphones and settling down with a good book to drown it all out and focus on something else. ]

A question, City. I was wondering... Not counting any of the aliens we have here, because the dimensional shift between worlds is sort of cheating and can make something that isn't reality become a reality... But, yeah, not counting any non-humans you may or may not have met here, do you... Do you believe in aliens?

[ just out of curiosity, of course. certainly, she doesn't want to see if she's not the only one with actual aliens back home. ]

Compared to the present state of this place, Roswell is practically an oasis.

Everyone okay out there? Charlie? Rose? Dr. Wilson?

[ it's not until the sun sets does today's curse take hold of one (1) liz parker. she leaves the apartment she shares with charlie in a stunning, low-cut red dress with a skirt so short, it would send her father into a rage. it does well to show off her legs, though, accompanied by the red heels she's got on to match. it's so unlike how the wannabe scientist dresses, but she feels compelled to go out and look good for a change. maybe it's the curse. maybe it was seeing max during that weird visitation weekend when the city was flooded with people.

all she knows is that she feels good, looks hot, and wants to show it off. care to bother her? ]

I feel like dancing. Where does someone go to have a little fun around here?

Last I checked, the doorway between our worlds and this one wasn't exactly revolving. Apparently this is a thing that just happens here. Like the curses. Anyway... Welcome to The City. It's not all bad here, promise.

If you need any help finding anything, my name's Liz Parker, and I'd more than happy to do what I can.
