This morning it was kind of cute.

Now, I'm pretty sure my window's blown out. And I can't get the door shut. Annnnd... I'm just gonna stay on the couch until they go away.

[He's mostly only annoyed that he can't be properly annoyed.]

[Enter one young and confident superhero, who's noticed that daleks aren't exactly the most maneuverable of enemies, so he's not even breaking a sweat, staying out of the way and picking people out of the line of fire.]

[He turns on it and drops the device, the video catching a flash of the big heap of metal advancing on him as it falls. It bounces and rights itself with a burst of static.

When the picture refocuses, Tommy has his hands up before him. There's an odd swirl and blur, then--

BOOM!

Tommy's face comes back into the frame as the dust clears and he picks the camera up.]

I was saying, anyone need a lift?

Did everyone else get like, kicked out of the desert place and end up here? And did everyone find everyone they were looking for?

[Running over sand isn't very easy-- the unsteady surface giving way slows him down as much as anyone else. Running over glass, going is a little easier, but stopping...]

There's a loud, resounding crash and shatter, the tinkle of shards spraying all over the place as he doesn't quite vault a park bench in time, followed by a heavy thud and much closer crack of plastic as he (and the device in his pocket) hits the ground.]

It's never a good sign when the sun doesn't come up.

I remember this kind of thing happening.

Still have yet to have anyone bring a pizza as a universe-warming gift, though. Which is kind of a disappointment.
