[Toul is currently walking up and down the blocks outside of the library, greeting anyone she comes by and asking if they would be willing to take a survey she is handing out. She'll also be greeting people outside the library doors to do the same.

It's an important survey, as one of her latest duties in the library has been the task of coming up with a fun and engaging exhibit that might bring in more visitors. But since Toul hasn't been around enough to know everyone yet, she hopes asking people what they like will get a better result for her. And then she realized, why just ask people she sees when she can ask everyone over the network? It's such a quick way to reach a lot of people, how could she have not have thought of it sooner?

And so here she is, smiling and trying to look as welcoming as possible.]

Hello, good morning, I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. I've been hoping that I could ask you all a few questions, if you don't mind? The library is going to be putting together some exhibits as the year goes on, but we can't make ones you like if well...we don't know what you like! You don't have to answer if you don't want to, but I would be very grateful if you did. If you don't want to answer them here you can speak to me at the library where I'll be for the rest of the day. My name is Toul.

--in the head.

Do you ever have anything polite to say?

Like you would know the difference.

[It's Toul again and she's been rather quiet, mainly because speaking over the network is still so new to her. She's getting used to it, but really she much prefers speaking to people in person if she can. Today though, she's trying to figure out exactly what's going on while speaking to the person on her shoulder who happens to look identical to herself. She doesn't really know what to do with someone so negative.]

...I wonder if you're tired. You seem a bit grumpy.

[The little her reaches out to yank harshly on Toul's ear, making her wince and her other twitch as she tugs to pull the little person off.] Maybe if you stopped being so stupid I wouldn't have to treat you like a kitten to get anything through.

[Toul holds her as gently as possible while the mini-Toul glares at her, and finally is able to look back at the screen.]

...Does anyone know what I should do to calm her down? She's been like this since I woke up.

Don't talk about me like I can't hear you.

[Toul winces again.] I didn't mean it that way!

{OOC: Feel free to run into Toul and her very cynical and negative inner voice. mini!Toul is not that nice.}

[The girl on the screen has pale hair and dark skin, save the very pale, near white birthmark beneath her eye. Tilts her head this way and that, then moves the video as if trying to get a better angle, wanting to understand exactly how it works. Her ears flick back and forth before perking straight up, twitchy and excited.]

…Hello? Is this…communication machine working? I heard someone speaking from it before and thought I might try it for myself. This place is…really quite amazing. I have never traveled to a city like this. I’m quite sure this isn’t where I was, but it’s just as strange how I came to be here. And I have never seen machines quite like this before, either. It’s all so curious. I don’t know where to start first! I wonder if Saxa has already found her way out. Hopefully she’s doing better than I am. I may have turned myself around a time or two just trying to find where I am. I would dearly appreciate someone telling me how to go about finding someone here, if it's not much trouble.

[Oh dear, she's been rambling hasn't she?]

I'm sorry for going on that way! It's just this place is nothing like I would have expected. I mean, the clocks only have twelve hours on them. I didn’t know that there were countries that used this kind of time-keeping anymore, but it must be very interesting. Why do you separate day into thirds? And the sun seems to move so quickly, it’s like the day is just flying by.

[Perhaps someone should step in before she continues to ramble about all the new things she's seen since she woke up by the fountain and spent the last hour wandering around looking at the buildings and whatever else she could. Or maybe someone might want to mention that there is something coming up behind her, an extremely pale girl with black hair that looks decidedly decomposed.]

{OOC: Feel free to run into to Toul before she speaks on the network, or after while she tries to deal with the ghoul who wants to kill her.}
