[ Ah, the pathetic inspiring view of a fully grown (?) man as he tries (and fails) to take a proper look at the glass city 'immigration' officers' books -

And ends up escorted away. Forcibly. Ouch. ]

Take your hands off - to the Abyss with it all, I'm only looking for a name, one! You have them all there, don't you? It's a new city, isn't it? If - if someone new's wandered in, or stumbled back, or... you'd have a writing of -

[ The guards happily ignore his fumbling, dragging awaaaaaay - ]

I don't suppose either of you could have seen a young master, pale... hair...?

[ -- and dropping him off at a safe distance from the checking point. It takes him a few minutes, but he finally spots the camera. ]

They never... say these things, do they?

[ BEHOLD: a clearly deluded young man, making his way through an abandoned market in desert city, before stumbling (!) over an innocent looking sand dune. ]

Where in the Abyss did you think to go? Ah - sorry -

[ BEHOLD (2): ...a just as young, but growing beautiful specimen of mutant vermin, awoken from his nap and rather peeved for it. Cue every editorial pre-attack pose a budding worm could put together in under 30 seconds. ]

Now, there's no need for - that's... really, those are all your own teeth?

[ BEHOLD (3)(thank everything): an enormous skeleton bird plunging mightily from ether, picking up the sand worm, tossing it around for giggles, then summarily gobbling it down like a boss.

Meanwhile, Gil will just be picking himself up from the ground and staring at the bird. Possibly wondering about his life and his choices. ]

There you are. Fine time of you to remember.

[ ooc: ...yes, okay. come be lost with the idiot (and the bird) in what is probably a sand worm nest. Go ahead :( b ]

"Shoot first, ask questions later."

They forget to tell you how quick that's likely to run you out of bullets these days.

All right: come and go all you like. And leave my hat out of it.

[ ooc: 4th wall away, anything goes /o/ ]

I believe he'd say there's a... a way with scissors, and a way without them.

That's all you need to know about what happens behind locked bedroom doors. We're done on the matter.

[ ooc: oh so cursed, but at least imparting great wisdom. :( b ]
