005 Dark Towers Destroyed; Video; Action;
[Ken's situated in the library, books strewn out around him, but currently they're pushed to the side, his attention on the device, expression thoughtful.]
Rapunzel-san mentioned stars the other day. I decided to tell some stories from my home world about them, along with the names I recall, and look through the library for other stories and names.
However, it made me realize some of us may be from the same world, but you would still know stories and legends of the stars I don't. And there are other people from other worlds that would have completely different stars, and different stories.
Would you please share your stories of stars from home with us?
[He's expecting someone (three someones at different times), but feel free to answer in person, run across him in the library by chance, bug him about the books, anything.]

[Estelle loves the stars, they were always so pretty to look at out from her window in the castle, but she loved looking at them even moreso outside the castle on her journey.]

[She closes her eyes, as if recalling a fond memory.]
The end.

Hi, Ken!
Wow, you got a lot of books...are they all about the stars?
Action;
Some of them, yes. I was looking through the others to see if I could find any extra information about this place, but I haven't had much luck.
We can just focus on stars for now, though.
Re: Action;
Okay, that sounds nice!
Uh...I brought a few sketches of what I charted from my tower. I don't think they're right, but...

Well, no, I don't think they're entirely accurate. [Staring at the sketches with wide eyes all the same, before looking up at her with that slightly amazed look.] But they are pretty. You're very talented.
[For all of the things he could do as the Digimon Kaiser, he could have never created something so beautiful, and he knows it. That genius was far different from honest talent.]

Besides, it's not a bad way to learn about others here, or other worlds.

I'm familiar with a legend about a star from my world. I'll tell it to you, if you'd like to hear it.
video;
Please, feel free to share your story. They're all welcome.

There's one that I heard in the army. I'll try to recount it as accurately as possible. [He wasn't told fairy tales as a child, but he has a good memory. He pauses to recollect before beginning.]
Once upon a time, there was a star who lived in the sky. She was beautiful and cold and alone, watching the Planet from above with glittering eyes. The Planet was cold at first, and dry and lifeless, but as she watched, it grew warmer, and the seas rose, and life rose from the seas.
The star grew envious of all that warmth and life. She wanted some for herself, so she made up her mind to fall. She descended from the sky in a rain of light. Stars are powerful creatures, and when she hit the surface of the Planet, she left a great, deep scar.
She rose from that scar, shining and eager, but stars aren't meant to live on the Planet's surface, so when she went forth, the world began to sicken and die. The people of the Planet, too, fell ill, as if the atmosphere itself was made toxic by the star's presence. Yet they did not know why they were ill. Even though the star was not one of them, she looked like one of them, and so they died, in droves.
It was almost too late when they realized what was wrong. They had to act, but they were faced with an obstacle in the fact that stars were very difficult to kill. So they did not kill the star. The survivors banded together, and with what power they had remaining, they drove the star back into the scar she had created when she fell. They buried her deep in the ground, and they sealed her there, with both earth and magic, and they created great monsters and laid them to rest in the ground beside her, to protect the Planet if she should awaken once more.
And there she has slumbered for thousands of years.

Ah, well, I wasn't looking for fairy tales. But if you want to, go ahead and share. It never hurts to learn more, I suppose.

Well...Peter Pan kinda has stars! That's where Neverland is!

Ah, Ken! [Perhaps a bit too loud for the library, which he realizes, so his voice drops to an excited tone just above a hoarse whisper.] What a truly remarkable place, this library - just when I think I may be beginning to understand the reason behind the madness, it does something entirely unexpected. Incredible.
[If his words don't make it obvious how enthralled he is, his smile certainly does.]
Action;
This whole City is that way. With the curses, and changing people's bodies. And the constant ticking.
Action;
[Always looking on the bright side.]
The ticking, though, that's a curious element. I'm not terribly bothered by the sound, myself, but the way it comes and goes with social interaction is a most intriguing mechanic. Surely its intentions are to cultivate relationships among those of us here, but the way in which it is accomplished... I'd certainly like to unravel that mystery. One of many, though!
