Rapunzel-san mentioned stars the other day. I decided to tell some stories from my home world about them, along with the names I recall, and look through the library for other stories and names.

However, it made me realize some of us may be from the same world, but you would still know stories and legends of the stars I don't. And there are other people from other worlds that would have completely different stars, and different stories.

Would you please share your stories of stars from home with us?

[He's expecting someone (three someones at different times), but feel free to answer in person, run across him in the library by chance, bug him about the books, anything.]

That's amazing to hear about a star that was real. To simply watch over the people, yet that sounds like a lonely life...

Yes, Brave Vesperia itself was not a real person, but rather a story based off that star. You are correct, though. The Children of the Full Moon were a race... from what we had heard they eventually had come to form the Empire from my world, thus becoming royalty...

Not when you live in the sky with other stars of the same nature. Though I imagine, alone, it would be very lonely.

Huh.

But, even if the story is just symbolic it still implies a strong connection between the star and the race, seeing as they are referred to as brother and sister. I wonder if there was some bond there between the two for that part of the story to come about?

There... is a bond. While Brave Vesperia is a star, the Children of the Full Moon... had to sacrifice their lives to put that star into space. Because it was there, it was able to protect the world. Now, not all of the Children were sacrificed, but still... that is the true story.

[She looks away from the device. That story is still painful to her.]

From what we knew, the Children of the Full Moon that had given their lives did so willingly to save the world.

[He doesn't say much for a while, just stares at the device, clearly stunned. When he does speak, his voice is softer than usual.]

That's...awful. But very noble of them to have done that.

It is a terrible story, but it's thanks to them that we still have our world...

[Of course she would speak highly of her own kind, and in a way, it makes her grateful that she didn't have to meet the same fate as them.]

Yes, there is that. It's a harsh decision they made, and the outcome is one people must be grateful for. It's a story deserves a lot of respect.

I believe so as well. Though I rather prefer the version as Brave Vesperia and The Child of the Full Moon being brother and sister. It's... much happier.

[She prefers stories with happy endings!]

Yes, it is. Too bad it's not the truth.

[And Ken just takes things as they are. Perhaps a little too much.]

Not the entire truth, at least.

[Normally she likes the truth too. History should be taken at face value, but when it directly concerns her, sometimes sugar coating it is nice.]

[She smiles, but there is a melancholic touch to her expression.]

Of course, it's still a wonderful story.

[That normal expression with her bright smile returns. She knew of the story long before she knew the true background behind what created that lore that's passed down. To her, it's still a very happy tale.]
