005 Dark Towers Destroyed; Video; Action;

[Ken's situated in the library, books strewn out around him, but currently they're pushed to the side, his attention on the device, expression thoughtful.]

Rapunzel-san mentioned stars the other day. I decided to tell some stories from my home world about them, along with the names I recall, and look through the library for other stories and names.

However, it made me realize some of us may be from the same world, but you would still know stories and legends of the stars I don't. And there are other people from other worlds that would have completely different stars, and different stories.

Would you please share your stories of stars from home with us?

[He's expecting someone (three someones at different times), but feel free to answer in person, run across him in the library by chance, bug him about the books, anything.]

I sort of know how it works...it's got to do with lightning...I sort of understand it a little bit, though, since I got here.

[She nods, listening. She sort of understands it, and it makes a lot more sense when he explains it.]

They're really nice...maybe some things are universal, I guess...

Overall, it's easier learned slowly, starting with, yes, lightning, in a way. It has a source of electricity, but there are other ways to create it. These books probably have good explanations of all of that.

[He's never had to explain so much to someone else before and feels a couple of his other...friends would be better suited for it. He would be relieved to know he's not doing too poorly at it.]

Maybe.... Or maybe different stars look the same. It's hard to say. But for now, you can use these charts to correspond them. I think one of these books has the Greek myths for stories of each constellation, too.

I'd like to read about that, too, if that's okay. I know it won't apply when I go home, but still.

[She smiles at him.]

Really? Oh, I'd love to look at the myths...the charts do look similar...if they're different, they're in the same general positions.

Of course it's okay. I think...if these books are here, then they're meant to be read and looked through. Otherwise they might just sit here and not get used.

[He smiles back - it's hard not to since he smile is so bright.]

The myths are in this book [barely lays his hand on it to show which book he means] and there have been some kind people to share their own stories on the network, as well.

Exactly! I love the library...there's so many books, and there's so much time to read them...

[She laughs, and puts her hand on the book of myths, brushing against his slightly.]

I should make my own stories up for the constellations I made.

Yes, we do have a lot of time. Makes me wonder, though. The school isn't well attended to, sadly. But I think plenty of us could make good use of it. Especially for those in your situation who have a lot to catch up on technology-wise. A quick course might help you make use of what you find here.

[He barely notices, but does blush a little and adjust his hand so she can look.]

You should. Maybe this can be inspirational?

I think that's a great idea. How many kids are here, anyway...? If the school isn't well kept, maybe there should be more people helping out there...

[She nods and smiles more.]

Exactly!

[He considers that.] I'm not certain. And even then, some of the adults from more primitive times might still benefit from a class on electronics and how to use them.

It's a good idea. I think we should do it.

I think...I think you're right. Next chance I get where everyone seems in their right minds I'll inquire about the school and get more information. Based on that, I'll see what classes can be set up.

Any help would be appreciated. You might give a better idea of what things should be covered in a class, for example. There are things people from my time would take for granted.

Computers, for example.

Computers are confusing...I've tried to use them and I sort of know how to get them to work, but...

If you ever have any questions on them, you can always ask the network. Plenty of people are helpful here. And you can always ask me, as well. I will do my best to show you how they operate and explain them.
