[The video feel turns on and you can see right away that Amu is in the Hall of the Missing, there's a momentary glimpse that portrait of Ikuto she's looking at before the view shifts since she's heading on her way back out of that place] -- really gone this time, that confirms it.

That idiot, it figures. People leave all the time, I guess that's nothing new, huh? It looks like I'm on my own here again too, kind of.

[Amu just lets out a sigh. At this point she knows her device is on so she decides to say something more as a way to distract herself from being upset] Anyway, I have a question...I know that probably varies but I'm curious. Say if you have a pet, how do you go about deciding on a name? I could probably use a few tips on that sort of thing.

I have a pet here. I named it after someone I admired.

Someone you admired?

That's not a bad idea. Though wouldn't it be strane if they come here too or something? [she's more so thinking of it from her end with her names choices if she went with that option]

That's right.

I'd like it if they appeared here, but I don't know how likely that is. They were someone I knew as a child. I'm sure they wouldn't mind my use of their name.

Ah- yeah, it really is hard to tell with this place who will show up and when.

Well if it's someone who won't mind then I guess it works out.

So I've heard, but I haven't yet met anyone here that I know. [A brief smile.]

I assume you have a pet as well, if you're looking for a name?

[She just nods at first] Yeah, that's right. My friend got her for me just recently before he left.

They might come back, whoever it was that left.

It was someone from my world.

But you're right, they might. I shouldn't give up hope.

[ awkward pause. ]

What kind of pet are you trying t oname?

A cat.

I'm sure you don't have to be on your own--at least not for long.

A pet? I've never had a pet, exactly, but everything kind of has a personality, doesn't it? Maybe just figure out what your pet's personality is like and then pick a name that fits.

You think so? Well maybe! I guess it's possible with this place they could come back.

I haven't either until recently but you're right-- about the personality thing.

I guess I will give it a few days and see what sort of name fits once I figure that out.

They could! Or even if they don't, you can make new friends. No one from where I'm from is here and I already kind of feel like I have a family in the City.

Good luck with the naming! I hope it's as easy and it seems like it should be.

The people I know tend to drift toward naming their pets after types of food.

After types of food? Really? I've never heard that before.

Oh, sure. Fruit. Pastries. Breakfast items.

I hadn't considered that before, but that is a unique in a way.

It may be lonely, but there is always a hope we'll be called back home... [ no, no that didn't sound very comforting at all OTL ]

Like ambassadors? I've never thought of it like that before.

You will certainly ease the passage of others should they ever find their way into this world.

When they arrive here? Yeah, it does seem like a better way to think about it.

Then I'm glad to be of service today, Miss Amu. I am sorry for the loss of your friend. [ he can commiserate after recently loosing Elliot ]

It's fine-- I mean, he had something to do back home that this place was keeping him from.

He must be glad to return home then. Leaving loose ends behind is always a troubling matter even if it's difficult to leave friends and family behind. I hope he didn't leave any here, did he?

He wasn't exactly the social type so it doesn't look like that was the case.

Then he had a clean break, even if he left a good friend behind.

If you start feel lonely, you're more then welcome to call on me. I may not be the best company but... [ he knows what it's like to be invisible. He somehow felt Amu did too, from time to time. Or at least lonely. ]

It's okay. I mean I did come on the network to ask about something so you weren't keeping me from anything.
