The Flash (Wally West)

[Look at Flash in his fancy hat! Isn't he dashing? Right now, he is in the fastest vessel in the City seas. That vessel is a rowboat The bottom is filled with oars - he can't seem to stop breaking them. He has the comm settled in the seat in front of him.]

Captain's log, August 11th, eighteen--two thousand--whatever year it is.

My beloved ship, Shayera, is being repaired at the moment, but as these dastardly degenerates will not wait for her return to full function, neither shall I. It seems the waters are more perilous than usual, in fact.

[Pause. He stares off into the distance for a moment before he starts rifling around the bottom of the boat, tossing aside a few oars before finding a spyglass. It won't open for him - it seems to be sticky. Probably because there's a bunch of random junk food at the bottom of the rowboat too. He finally manages to get it to his eye.]

What ho?! A pirate flag on the horizon! Onward!

[His arms are a blur as he begins rowing the boat forward just before he turns the comm off with his foot.]

Rapunzel

[The place: The kitchen of the Hringhorni, the feared pirate ship captained by a bear.

The scene: Rapunzel, the ship's cook/treasure-catcher, is preparing lunch. Now, since they haven't been back to port in a while, and they sacrificed a good deal of their fish stock to both their captain and the kraken they recently encountered, there's not reaaaally a lot for her to work with.

But they've got supplies. Somewhere. So, she's digging through cabinets and chests, pulling out whatever she can find.]

Salt, check...flour, check...I could make a fresh batch of hard tack, but nobody likes that. Hm.

Maybe we have cabbage in here somewhere for sauerkraut...wish I didn't hate saurkraut...

[And so she continues to hunt and think about what to prepare. Mayhaps you wish to join her in the kitchen?]

[ooc: Open to all members of the best/worst pirate crew ever the Hringhorni's crew, as well as whoever else wants to join in. Because pirates. And cooking. Cooking Mama: Pirate Edition.]

Neil Perry

[Really, how could any weekend of piracy be complete without a visit from the legendary Peg-Fist Jack and his vicious crew of miscreants?

He's set on the end of a pier, looking out into the sunset, a bottle of rum and a hefty pewter cup beside him. He's wearing a properly grandiose pirate hat, and a long-sleeved jacket which covers one hand.]

Ah, the sea... she weren't so crowded in my day.

[Neil-- that is, Jack, and the inexplicable (and thankfully temporary) peg-fist for which he's known-- will have been out and about all weekend, drinking and eating and whiling away his time in the bars down by the waterfront, or he'll have been found aboard his ship-- small, compared to some others, but fast and well-armed.

Fortunately, the crew is coming off a good season, and he's more inclined to seek entertainment than conflict. Feel free to hit him up at any point over the weekend, just about anywhere, if you are so inclined.]
