[The video feed opens to the network after Bruce has already situated the camera to his satisfaction. His lab is as brightly lit and gleaming as one might expect. What one might not expect is the Christmas display in the center of the camera's optical field.

It's a tree built of various glassware and equipment from his lab, colored water (yes, just water) providing the festive component in the clear glassware.]

We did this when I was an undergrad. Don't ask how long ago that was. As long as you're just using nontoxic colors and water, it's pretty eco friendly.

I guess I wanted to put my own spin on things. I know the City's been treating us to every-other-day 12 Days of Christmas-themed treats, but it's been a while since I was settled enough to do something myself.

So happy holidays. I hope that those of us who want to go home, find our way home soon, and for those of you who are happy here, I hope the curses are more kind than cruel.

I wish I hadn't tried on that stupid ring yesterday.

It just looked so pretty I thought I'd put it on just for a minute.

I'm sorry I didn't get in to work, but when I finally got it off I buried it out in the woods and then went and hid in bed with my head under the covers the rest of the day.

I'm not entirely sure where to look for a job, so if this isn't the right way, let me know. I will look through the shops tomorrow, but I thought I might try this way first.

I really would like a job! I was used to having one back home. Cleaning and cooking are the skills I'm good at. Back home I was working with a cleaning crew, so I have experience, too! If anyone knows of anyone hiring for such a job, or anything similar, please let me know.

Even if it's really different, though, I'll still try it!

[Speaking of cleaning, Tohru's been looking for cleaning supplies and trying her best to clean around the place she shares with Jinora and Korra, without being intrusive. Maybe she should've asked to do this, first? Also, is that lunch she's prepared out on the table? Yes, yes it is.]

[ These dratted rings. Today, High Master Creeping Dust has found himself returned to a period of his existence he really would have been just as well not revisiting. And the library is going to suffer for it. He is spending his time ripping the pages out of books he deems useless in order to scrawl a number of symbols onto the pages. These pages are being adhesed to the windows and walls.

There's also smoke filling the area, incense burning. ]
