Are these "curses" going to get worse when we get closer to Christmas? It's not even that big of a holiday where I'm from- are the gods here American? If they like Christmas so much...

Not that I want to see them do anything for setsubun or obon something. That could get scary really fast if you twisted it a bit-

The eggs weren't so bad. David, thank you so much for the gift! I really appreciate it. Now I don't have to wear my school uniform all the time. Though I guess I should still-

Oh yeah.

Um, are there any tailors in the City? I haven't seen any centaur clothes in the stores and three sets of clothes is still a little... you know. Just asking.

And. While I'm asking, does anyone want to form a study group? I have university entrance exams coming up next year and I really can't afford to fail those- I need to study, but doing it alone is kind of boring...

I think usually, Christmas has been a pretty big deal here, though it isn't always bad. It's worth trying to keep your hopes up, at least.

Oh- they're holidays where I'm from. One is for honoring our ancestors, and the other is a... I think it was a seasonal change festival originally?

I mean, I don't want to say for sure, because you never can be sure here, but yeah. One year it was sunny and hot, like the middle of summer. Either way it is Christmas, I think people work hard to keep it cheerful. In spite of the curses.

Well, the City can make just about anything frightening, if it wants to. How do you celebrate?

I guess that would be nice. It's a pretty good time of year...

Mm. Well for Obon we have to prepare for the spirits to visit so there's cleaning, and cooking, and lighting candles usually... the lantern displays can be fun to go see. And for Setsubun we usually just... throw beans at the oni.

Yeah... I've been trying to get settled but it's my first time living on my own, and this place doesn't... make it easy to set a routine...
