Okay there are somethings that are just wrong. On so many levels. Such as the saying 'pissed in my cornflakes.'

I don't need to elaborate other than cornflakes will not be on my menu in a long time. If ever again.

Saya Otonashi
13 November 2012 @ 02:33 pm
[One unfortunate thing about total amnesia -- among many -- is that one has no conception of social norms and graces. Saya spent a good few hours flitting around the city, picking up anything that looked interesting to her. Small things mostly, papers and trinkets and perhaps a book or two. The problem? She doesn't have any concept of money, so technically she's a thief. Oops?]

[She settles down beside the fountain with her booty and starts tossing things out of her pockets -- and with it, the device, which clicks on without her realizing it (she's not used to the thing yet).]

[The device gets tossed into the pile with the miniature candles and handkerchiefs and paper scraps, but the video keeps displaying Saya as she proceeds to pick up objects from her crime spree and start methodically destroying them. There's a surprising lack of violence in it, her expression placid. It's more like a child trying to figure out how things work.]

[Meanwhile, she's muttering to herself, the language switching randomly between French and Japanese with some English sprinkled throughout.]

((OOC: She will answer network replies (with her small vocabulary) once she realizes where the voice is coming from! Also, if your character runs an establishment and you want them to catch her in the act of thievery that would be fine, so long as she's swiping something small. She'd be just as likely to take a scrap of paper as actual merchandise.))

[ It's been eight days. Eight whole days. Better late than never, right? But in case anyone's yet to figure it out, he feels the need to make the announcement. He's sticking to text to avoid a metaphor slipping out; that's his story and he's sticking to it, okay? Okay. ]

Agent Phil Coulson has left the City.

DELACROIX to NETWORK: 13-11-???? re: EVERYWHERE

Every time the gates open for the visitors' day. It is another chance for SHODAN and her handmaidens to enter. She has been here before. She has been inside of me. I did not know that she could take over a mind -- ( a bio-computer ) -- but I am not surprised.

Every time, she may enter and she may leave a part of herself. A spore. Is there a spore now in me? It must be removed.

She is everywhere. She is an uncontrollable virus, biding its time. Always watching and always waiting, corrupting from within.

She is everywhere. Infinite. And I do hate to spew her dogma.

But I know she is here. She must be stopped. She must be kept out. She will kill us all.

She must be kept out. She must be destroyed.

She is everywhere.

[[ooc; Marie's paranoia is a thing. Also, I'm about to be kicked out of this lab, so I might not be able to answer right away. Plus Vee and Narcotics.]]

I'm utterly loathe to even contemplate the idea of calling you deities, but if I'm forced to make a deal with you, I suppose I have no choice but to do so. I'm interested in speaking with a deity...

[The shudder is almost audible in his voice.]

... regarding a particular interest of mine.

Merlin of Ealdor ♣ Emrys
13 November 2012 @ 07:47 pm
[ The device has been discarded on a table, but it gives a rather decent view of the living room and Merlin moving about picking up glasses that have been left out. When he's about to exit the room, though, he trips on the treshold and yelps as he flails not to drop the glasses. But one ends up falling to the floor anyway and breaks into pieces.

He curses, and mutters somewhat under his breath: ]

Again? Glad I'm not cursed today - that's the last thing I need.

[ With a sharp exhale, he squats down to pick up the bigger pieces.

He's glad it's a curse day, though. It means it shouldn't be one tomorrow, and that's just perfect. At least they're getting that.

Once he's picked up the pieces, he disappears for a while, and eventually comes back into the screen with a vacuum. Once he's cleaned up the rest of the broken glass, he runs his hand over his hair and leans into the doorway to look around the living room. And smirks, as he straightens up and turns away to amusingly call out (into the kitchen, but you can't tell that from the recording). ]

Are you really sure you'll be able to keep the house cleaned while we're gone, Arthur?!

[ The feed cuts out. ]

I have learnt that noise, such as music, can dim the sound of ticking. Unfortunately, the songs I am familiar with are not available on the cee dee disk, so I am left with the collection previous inhabitants of this apartment listened to.

[A pause. She looks very...displeased. Which is never a good thing.] Also unfortunate, but I can no longer listen to any of them, for Loki has taken to yowling to their songs. I am inclined to agree with him. [Here, she rolls her eyes.] One can only expect that woman finds someone like you, whoever that person is, eventually, and ceases with her tragic moaning.

Are all modern songs of heartbreak? Some enlightenment is appreciated.

[ooc; BOOM, Loki.]
