Classical music is typically played by a symphony orchestra and, with the exception of operas, lacks words. Composers use a complex combination of melodic lines and counterpoint to evoke a feeling or tell a wordless story.

Modern music is just... noise.

Well, it is called Ride of the Valkyries, so that makes sense.

It's from an opera - a bit like a saga you might hear from a skald, only performed by many people in different roles. This particular opera is part of a story about a ring that was stolen from the dwarves by Odin.
