[There isn't much to see in the video, which makes it fairly obvious that it's one of those times the device came on without knowledge of the one carrying it.

Kira wouldn't have paid it any mind right now, anyway. The recording does show the ghoul of a Japanese men, middle-aged, tired looking. Kira can be heard hesitating, taking a deep breath.

Then there is movement, the sound of a sword being pulled and then it can be heard slicing through flesh. The ghoul falls over and then the perspective changes, as if Kira has knelt down next to him. It.

Only now does he think to check the device and he's not surprised to see it switched on.]

Typical.

[Just a mutter, quiet, perhaps to hide more feeling than he'd normally show. Than the feed is switched off.]

[She's panicked and scared and who cares about filters Naga is sick.]

Setsuna, I need a doctor. Naga's sick.

[If anything happens to Naga, she doesn't know what she'll do.]

[action]
[All hours are visiting hours in Korra's backyard!

Wednesday: The height of Naga's fever
Thursday: Naga's fever has broken, but she's still very ill
Friday: Naga is exhausted but recovering

If you're a friend of Naga -- or just passing by -- you can stop by any time!]

Creeping Dust ][ A Ghost Dog
09 January 2013 @ 03:41 pm
[Despite his pride, Creeping Dust has begun this video with the intent of requesting help. This is not something he would usually do. He is a leader and a loner, and incredibly arrogant when it comes to his self-sufficiency. However, he is also not usually attacked by those he trusts most deeply.]

Excuse me. [His voice is tight, strained.] I--

[Before he can continue, he's forced to jump back in order to avoid the swing of an enormous axe.]

Hawk. [It's a pleading tone, and he receives no reply. The man he's speaking to is twice his size, nearly seven feet with broad shoulders. His skin is brown and tattooed heavily, patterns that may be familiar to those inclined to notice such details.

Another voice makes the necromancer go taut and still,]

You abandoned us, brother.

[And while he is frozen, the axe is swinging towards him again...]

[[ooc; Life is being wrrretched, so I will be a backtagging backtagger on all of my posts. Thank you for your patience.]]

Just a reminder that you can take all the time you need to deal with any ghoul-related issues or injuries.

[ Pepper's looking down as she walks and texts, so she almost misses the tall, decaying man who steps out in front of her. ]

Miss Pottsss...

[ She freezes midstep, long enough to look up, see Obadiah Stane, then trade her device for something else in her purse: the lighter and can of aerosol hairspray she's been carrying around ever since the deities mentioned the ghouls could be taken out by fire. ]

Oh no you don't. [ She lets rip with the makeshift flamethrower and Stane goes up in flames. Dusting herself off, she pulls her device back out and continues her text. ]

I would personally suggest either carrying some kind of weapon on you at all times, or travelling in the company of someone who does. I usually would not condone or support the use of weapons, but desperate times call for, well, you know.

Stay safe everyone,

Pepper Potts, CEO

1.
[voice]

This is Bei Fong of the Republic City police. I need someone listening in on this line to answer a few questions.

Let's start with an easy one. Where am I?

Lucy Locke
09 January 2013 @ 08:28 pm
[Yesterday Lucy got bit. She was just going out for milk because it was important to have milk and she was dealing with the whole ghoulish state of the City by baking and cooking. As a result, she'd run out of milk and needed some. She'd gone during the day, reasoning that was the best time for venturing out and she'd thought she was safe. She'd even worn her converse so that she could properly run if she'd needed to.

She'd gotten her milk and she'd done well until she saw him wearing the suit they'd buried him in. He couldn't be here, could he? Maybe he could. Maybe he was. Maybe. Maybe. Maybe. At first he'd looked like her Daddy and she'd hugged him, ignored the signs that he was dead like the slightly gray pallor to his skin or the way he'd never do his hair the way the funeral parlor had done it when they'd buried him.

Then he'd bit her. On the neck when he'd hugged her.

She'd reacted by shoving him away, tears in her eyes as she fumbled for the laser screwdriver in her purse. She'd shot at him with it then turned and ran before she could see the damage she'd done.

Back home, she'd tried treating the bite herself (after having a good, sobbing cry at the bottom of her closet) and she'd been determined to stay in the apartment with her milk, her baking and her cooking, but the fever had gotten out of hand. By the time she stumbled her way to the hospital, it was already high and had been for a little while.

Now at least she was in the hospital when the delirium set in. Delirium that is now being caught on video because in her flailing, she's accidentally pushed the record button to broadcast over the network.]

Please, please can I go home? Please? [She's near tears and she's pleading with someone off camera.] I left the milk out and the dog needs to be fed and Masha might eat Ingram.

[Hands push down on Lucy's shoulders and a soft voice assures her that everything is fine. Lucy reacts in a very un-Lucy like way, with rage, pushing back and screaming.]

You can't promise that! You don't know! No one knows that!

[A struggle ensues and in that struggle the device gets knocked off the bed, bouncing before going black.]

Luke {Loki Laufeyjarson}
09 January 2013 @ 10:43 pm
[Luke has been missing for a day and a bit, and this is the first sign of him after complete radio silence. He's still Chloe, and she looks exhausted.]

The green thing isn't part of it, she's-- Don't go and use your zombie tactics on the leg ball. [That's all she manages before wearily shutting off the video. She's busy.]

[Meanwhile, out of the Underground charges a green ball of legs, like a sea urchin, only where all the spines are legs. Legs that look like they might belong to the Hulk, if the ball didn't have toddler-sized legs. Really muscular toddler-sized legs that add up to a heavy, round, human sized ball. It sort of run/rolls along, dodging ghouls occasionally and more often bowling them straight over.
Unfortunately, the same holds true for the living as well. Basically, it's making a huge mess.]

[ooc: The hulklegs is as invulnerable as the Hulk is but otherwise, you can stick it anywhere. This is your ball of hulklegs now. It belongs to everybody to randomly stick places.]
