It's interesting, isn't it, to think on the nature of betrayals?
[The lack of accompanying video with the voice post is probably for the best, since his tone is tense and irritated -- his face would, likely, match his voice.]
Sometimes we're betrayed by those we thought we could trust implicitly. I admit, I have very little patience for those people, as their very decision to trust anyone apart from themselves was... ill-conceived, to say the least. Sometimes we're betrayed by those we never trusted in the first place, but who we still let get too close. I needn't elaborate; I'm sure we've all experienced that particular sting of betrayal.

Sometimes, however, people find that they can't even trust themselves. That the true betrayer, the true destroyer -- of their ideals, of their beliefs, of everything they hold important -- is themselves. That, I think, is the worst betrayal of all. That is what we should all be so worked up about.
[By the time he's finished, he's practically yelling, and then there's a pause, a strangled noise of pain, and the audio shuts off quickly.]

Yes. He just stabbed himself. With a fork. Forward dated slightly to the 15th, just because I wanted to get this up before I had to rush off to work. Betrayals and stabbings, ahoy!]]
