I'm down one physics student, which leaves me with a lot more ticking time. I hate to admit it, but it's getting pretty hard to tolerate.

I guess... what I'm trying to say is that I could use some company. I'm going to find a decent, Cage-free restaurant and lunch will be on me.

[Neil looks happy, almost hysterically so. The device shows him at the mirror, which is above the dresser in his bedroom. He's been reading posts from people who all look like this one guy and it freaked him out enough that he ran to the mirror to see if he was cursed, too. His hands are resting on the top of the dresser, which helps with the bouncing. He didn't bother to put any clothes on, however...

He isn't cursed, thus he's bouncing in place, yelling excitedly at his reflection.]

For being after Halloween, this month was oddly horrific. The City's endgame may or may not be to make hermits out of all of us, get rid of all reflective surfaces, never trust the clown, so on and so forth... If we're so lucky, December is supposed to be the season of peace and love, isn't it?

Maybe two years and change is too late to be asking - but has anyone ever tried exchanging something to avoid being cursed? Or do the deities consider it a cop-out?
