Olivia Dunham
[ There's a clatter as a communicator hits the floor, snapping on-

And we see Olivia Dunham, backed against the wall, her gun aimed and ready to fire. ]

You were never my father.

[ There's fire in her eyes and steel in her voice, and not two seconds pass, when she fires three bullets. ]

I won't let you get away this time.

It seems a delivery may or may not have arrived.

[ooc: Just dicking around on the Network. He's gotta show his face from time to time, remind the City who is Head Scientist In Charge, mmmkay?]

It sounds complicated to have a father. I can't even imagine what it would be like to have a parent. It's like imagining how life would be different with four arms or if the City was underwater. It's too weird to think about seriously.

So, yesterday... [Jack looks significantly better than the last time he showed up on the network, but today he looks ill at ease. He doesn't seem to have gotten much sleep in the time since, either.] That was supposed to be our fathers haunting us, right?

I guess the City has a loose definition of what counts as a father. [A man who built a city at the bottom of the sea. A conman who sometimes called him boyo.] Either that or it couldn't pick just one.

[Then he sighs tiredly and drags a hand over his face.] Would've been better if it didn't even try. But that's too much to ask, isn't it?
