[In all of his time in the City, Hanna has only sounded so heartbroken and depressed and LOW once before, and that was when his zombie best friend left the City.]

...Euphie's gone.

[And with what sounds like a barely repressed sob, the feed cuts off. He's off to go and drink away his sorrows.]

SPITFIRE

[ A guy with red hair is smiling faintly at the camera. He looks a bit lost and embarrassed. The look you could easily picture on the face of a tourist looking for the restroom. ]

Can anyone tell me the way to Heaven? I must have taken the wrong turn.

[ He scratches his head and chuckles. ]

I didn't sign up for this, you know. That death was glorious and it didn't lack drama either. It all served a purpose. Did you even see it, God? A hero like me shouldn't end up in Hell – not even by mistake, haha...

[ He pauses as if he's listening to some distant noise. ]

And what's with the ticking?

What do you believe happens to the dead once they leave the City?

I won't contest religious beliefs.

[Flagged to Dean // Open to Police Force Members and Affiliates]
I'd like to request a few days off, assuming no one else gets murdered. Please.

[ooc: Euphie left, she and Justin had a weird thing going on that was rather emotional, and Justin's dealing the only way he knows how that doesn't involve self-destructive habits he has outgrown, which is... thinking. (For those keeping score, he was already upset about Mara and the police force's lack of fixing things.)]

[So he's been here for a bit, and with nothing to do, it's never a good thing.]

Right, this place has to have something for me. Back where I'm from, I did three years worth of training in I guess something similar to the Navy. [Time differences, man.] Anyway, I'm currently in need of something to do. Idle hands, as they say.

Also a bar. Point me to a good bar.

Rapunzel
15 June 2012 @ 10:59 pm
[There’s laughing at first, familiar laughter of one Rapunzel and the not as commonly heard laughter of Charlie. Her voice is muffled at first and then a bag of flour is moved by someone and Charlie’s voice is clearer, if coming in mid sentence.]

---didn’t grab enough mint from upstairs. Oops. And we made too much pie cru---Phantom! Stop running between my feet! Crazy animal. Rapunzel, where did the apples we just cut up go?

Uh...They’re on the counter, in the big green bowl, next to the sink!

[Rapunzel laughs as Phantom runs past them again, moving to grab the bowl with the apples, moving to hand them to Charlie.]

Do you want me to grab more mint?

[Charlie takes the apples, nodding.] Just a bit. I misread the directions and am about a tablespoon short for the chocolate mint raspberry pies.

[There’s a yelp from Phantom and a brief moment where he actually appears on camera. He knows the device is on, hence him behaving like a complete idiot. And then Charlie spots it and gives it a wave. She’s clearly in a good mood.] Hi, City.

Oooh, is the camera on?

[Rapunzel smiles and waves at it, before darting off to go and grab the mint, coming back a few minutes later with the supplies.]

Do we have enough jars?

[Charlie does a quick count, looking at Rapunzel with a nod.] Yes. There’s more in the cabinet above. Also, so far? We’ve made about thirty of these. I think we need help getting rid of them. I know at least....three people who’d help. One of them is my room mate. One is Merlin and the other is Dean.

[Charlie picks one of the pie jars up and holds it up to the camera. It’s a blueberry crumble pie jar.] What do you think, Dean? That look good to you?

We better make sure to get extra for Dean...he really likes pie, after all. Oh! We should make some for Sam...and I should bring home some extras for Serrure...

[Gotta make sure the new roomie is happy, after all! She smiles and waves at the camera again.]

I can’t believe I’ve never made pie jars before... Where did you learn to do this, Charlie?

A book I got here, actually. I’ll let you borrow it. It’s---[And when Charlie reaches for the aforementioned book, the device gets bumped and shuts off, but not before displaying a large group of fresh from the oven pie jars.]

[ooc: red is Charlie, and pink is Rapunzel.]
