You know what's great about waking up at 6 in the morning? Realizing that nothing strange is happening. No curses. No statues coming to life. No monsters rampaging through the city. Nothing.

Why can't all days be like this?

(I know, I know. CAUSE THE DEITIES ARE A BUNCH OF FUCKERS WHO WON'T LEAVE US WELL ALONE.)

Also, since I'm up -- anyone here knows if there's a gym anywhere in town?
[ He wants to work out so he can kick the shit out of Nathan Young. It's been long overdue. AND! for other more positive reasons like -- it's good and it's healthy and who wants to have a beer belly at this age? Not him. ]

[First off, that's not the carpet in Charlie's apartment. She's elsewhere today. Probably at Ed's. Second, there is a round hedgehog crawling on the floor, sniffing everything. Petrichor is nearby, keeping well away from the hedgehog.

Finally, something Petrichor doesn't want anything to do with. The hedgehog seems to know this, too, because it keeps heading over to the cat, hissing and popping until Petrichor has run away to hide under something.

Charlie's recording this and finding it kind of amusing. When Petrichor decides to sniff at the hedgehog and the hedgehog turns too fast for his liking, startling the cat out of the room, Charlie starts laughing. The amera is shifted and Charlie very carefully picks the spiky creature up.]

Sonic, you're being a bully.

[Meanwhile, Sonic seems perfectly happy to be in Charlie's hand, sniffing her skin and looking up at her. End feed.]

[ There is a photo attached of a smiley face on a section of brick. ]

I wasn't aware we had such wonderful artists in the City - or gangsters insistent on spreading joy all across the Underground. Then again, considering just the other day we had robots made out of trash cans roaming about, the prospect of happy thugs just doesn't seem so far off.

Pieces of scrap metal, however, make much better windchimes than I imagine pieces of thug would - just a hazard of a guess.

Don't correct me if I'm wrong.

Also, I know we have Cinna as our wonderful tailor in the Overground, but might anyone here repair watches?

[While normally Tony would have put up a fancy weapons demonstration for this, after the... fiasco the other day, he figures it's better to just do this as soon as possible. He can do the theatrics later when he actually has the products out. For now, he's just trying to get a general feel for interest. Death can temper even Tony's love for flash.

He said he wasn't going to make weapons anymore, but in an isolated place like this with a company so limited, he figures it's okay.]

I'm reinstating both the weapons and vehicle manufacturing divisions. City Solutions will now be constructing high-tech weaponry. If you want one, register your information with the front desk. And get a license - I really don't like showing up for court, got it?

Apparently I used to make cars here. Interesting what kind of paperwork you find when you actually go through 'em. Or the paperwork you make your employees go through. Either way, City Solutions isn't named City Solutions without a reason. You need a motorcycle or car, we've got 'em for you. After a down payment, proof of credit, and about a month to slap one together, of course.

Sorry, Rhodey. Your plane'll have to wait.

[He laughs - it was a joke.]

[ He doesn’t really want to make a big deal of it, there’s no point, and he already feels kind of awkward about it. So Bucky’s network post is short, to the point, because he’s too tired to make it anything else. ]

Hey, so uh -- I’m not dead. Just figured people should know that. In case they were curious. [ Sarcasm, thy name is Bucky. ] Howard, I need to talk to you. In private, okay?

[ End feed. ]

Oi. Doctor. Do you have any other mortal enemies I should know about? Because I'd really hate to be taken by surprise again by another condiment-shaped killing machine.

For those who haven’t heard, Todd Anderson has written a play called “Like Clockwork” that will likely be performed in May. If you are interested in helping with the play’s production, contact Neil Perry. Please consider attending.

Additionally, in light of recent allegations, I would like to issue this reminder: the police officers in the City are as susceptible to curses as anyone else. Like everyone else, they cannot be held responsible for actions they take while under the influence of a curse.

I wonder if the rest of spring will be as eventful as its beginning.
