audio; open

I thought I would go to the Hall of the Missing today, if anyone would care to join me for the excursion. I will be there around seven. Thank you.

text; locked to pepper, rapunzel, and setsuna

Charlie McGee asked me to get in touch with you in regards to providing fireworks for her wedding. Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes has an extensive selection, and I am certain we will be able to find something to suit the occasion.

action; the hall of the missing

[It's around seven, as he'd said earlier in the day, and Percy is waiting outside the Hall of the Missing, coffee in hand to ward off the chill of the early evening. He checks his pocketwatch for the time, deciding he will give any potential companion another ten minutes before he goes in. He'd like to go alone, but he's not sure it's the wisest course of action, considering all the people he knows who will be in there. With someone else there, it will allow him to make it about them and shift his focus off himself.

In the meantime, he mentally sorts through his to-do lists for the next day, categorizing into City Solutions, the Wheezes, Passione, and home, and tries not to let himself feel the trepidation at how long each of them are.]

I have been taught that one must make amends for one's wrongdoing. And although yesterday was a curse, I still must ask forgiveness. If I have wronged you in my actions yesterday, or caused damage to your self or property, I will apologize and make due reparations.

[ OOC: Yesterday Leah was on a rampage with the Lokis. Feel free to say your character was in some way harmed by this. PS, Leah's way of apologizing for throwing someone through a window is to throw herself through the window. JSYK. ]

I don't remember October's being so...bad when it came to curses. Is it normal for something to want to kill you every few days?

Also: Serrure, Leah, I owe you two an apology. I'm sorry I locked you out of the apartment yesterday. You were cursed, I know, and it was probably smart at the time....still, I feel bad.

So, I'm gonna make apology pie. Any input on what you want?

For those whose curiosity was stirred, there has been past attempts to study the clock in depth. None were successful. Clock doesn't like anyone getting close.

The carousel is connected to the clock. Opposite of the clock's temperament; contact's allowed so long as it's of friendly intent. I assume this has something to do with being an amusement ride common in many worlds, popular with all ages, and frequently invokes positive feelings.

Won't stop, but the speed tends to be slow enough one can safety hop on/off. Can ride a painted pony to your heart's content. Try anything deemed aggressive, the carousel will react and defend itself.

Others may have more detailed observations to share. Seek them out if you wish.

Interesting. The 'tiger' is becoming fairly appreciative of my company.

(OOC - If this is really true, they could be tamed and be friendly.)

Zatanna Zatara

[The video opens with a view of a seemingly infinite hallway, illuminated by various sconces scattered about the walls. Zatanna is visible in the shot for the first time since she has arrived, her costume clean and pressed. The tailcoat floats along with each echoing step.]

About time something of mine showed up here. I guess I was just looking in the wrong places. It's always alternate dimensions, you know. [She stops at a double-door, hesitating before entering. She gives you a quick peek of her room; it's large and clean and decorated tastefully. If you squint you might have caught a few large prints featuring the likes of Thurston and Kellar (and, if you're very observant you might catch posters for Duck Soup, The Last Man on Earth, and a headshot of some handsome guy...) on the walls behind her before the screen zooms in so you can't be nosy.]

It's a little quieter than it should be, but I'm not going to complain. [Movement, as she sits on her bed and bounces a few times.] I'm now officially in a good mood, so let's jam. What's shaking, City? Tell me something about yourself. Let's be friends. [Why does that sound like a threat...]
