[Well, this while no-sun thing has Charlie completely thrown. She's not sure what to make of it. Didn't they do this before? Ah, well. That was life in the City for you. It was around three PM. She'd been lazing about the apartment all day, trying to clean up what she could of the sand only to have the broom turn to the same stuff about three minutes in.
Petrichor and Hypnos were enjoying it until the cat tower followed suit. And every time Ed upstairs took a step, sand would fall where he walked and worrying cracks would form. His refrigerator door would open and shut and that'd just send more dust raining down. She'd given up on getting anything to eat, by this point. Everything was gritty and gross. Putting the sandwich she'd tried making in the garbage, which immediately half turned to sand, Charlie froze. Her head tilted slightly and a faint groaning sound was heard above. Looking up, she noticed the cracks were starting to connect a little at a time and parts of the ceiling were starting to sag. Larger chunks of sand started to fall and Charlie looked somewhere between annoyed and apathetic towards the situation. All she really had to say about it?]
Well, there goes my good mood.
