His eyes focus for a moment, and he manages a look of mild surprise. ] Boss? — [ a wet cough ] Does any S.H.I.E.L.D agent —?

[ Another breath, laboured, and he stills again. ]

[ So. He almost died and he got fixed up, more or less, by a doctor from the future and a kid with magic.

It's a little much to take in. Somehow, he's not surprised. ]

[ Considering how many people end up near the fountain when they arrive, McCoy's started walking by it whenever it's not too far out of his way. Today he's on his way back to the hospital, medkit hanging over his shoulder, looking around.

Thank god he is.

He doesn't recognize the man but he can see the blood and it spurs him into action, rushing over as he pulls his medkit off his shoulder. Roxas might get sort of jostled out of the way in the process. ]

Sir? Can you tell me what happened? [ One hand is pulling his tricorder out to scan him, but the other is attempting to pull back the corner of Coulson's jacket to locate the wound. ]

[ Coulson is now in hospital. And going through the messages on what has replaced his comm. ]

Thank you. I did. [ Perfectly polite. And dry. ]

[ Clint isn't thrown off guard easily, but as he watches the feed, the device beeping for attention, he finds it difficult to breathe. Is it curse? No. He knows the details, but he wasn't there, and it's exactly as he imagined it.

He's already up high, eyes on the city, and he's up and moving in time to watch as someone gets him away to safety. He follows and waits out of sight. ]

[ Later, after Roxas has worked his magic, whatever that was, and Dr McCoy has brought him to the hospital, Coulson sits propped up against the pillows, pale and yet rather composed.

Visitors might be allowed, now. ]

[She was having breakfast when she saw the feed over her device. Her appetite had left her immediately as she saw Phil and his condition. Considering what she knew so far about the City, she could tell exactly where he'd been taken from.

She runs out of her apartment and into the city center.]

[ At this point, he's been brought to the hospital by Dr McCoy and Roxas, and he's doing much better, propped up against the pillows.

Look, no more blood. ]

[Bruce has kept in touch with Clint and Natasha. Once Coulson has been stabalised and the swirl of visitors have gone, Bruce slides into the room and picks up Coulson's chart to read it.

There is a lot of emotion going on in his face. Sadness and joy intertwine. Phil would live here. Back home he might have lived too if the medics had been able to reach him faster. Life and death could be decided in seconds.]

Hi [He says quietly, looking up with a faint smile.] You will back on your feet in no time.

[Action at the hospital]

[ He's not asleep, but he's a little tired and it shows around the edges, though he's still rather composed, all things considered. ]

Dr Banner. [ Giving him a brief smile. ] Good to see you again.

[At the hospital]

[Steve looks around the corner - he is definitely not waking Coulson up if he's asleep, okay?]

[ So many jokes about watching someone while they're sleeping go here.

Though Coulson is dozing more than actually sleeping and blinks into wakefullness, or more of it, at the slightest sound. ]

[ The Son of Coul is getting better and better— perhaps unsuprisingly enough, considering two magic users and a doctor from the future have had a go at healing him.

So he's sitting up, smiling when he sees Thor. ] Hello again.

[You know Tony Stark likes you when he comes to the hospital on his own to see you. He knocks all polite-like, seemingly ~cool~ and ~composed~]

[ It does come as a bit of a surprise once he sees it's actually Tony Stark. Huh. ] Come in.

[ New victim by the fountain, unknown, stabbed, taken to the hospital, anyone around the police station could go take a look at it? Nope, all busy dealing with leftover pony damage or what the fuck ever. Hey Harry, go scope it out for us, would ja? Sure, not doing anything better at the moment.

So Harry shows up, dressed all normal knocks on the door to this guy - clipboard by the door said 'Coulson, Phil' and the rest was obscured. He shrugged. Probably just fell on something when he landed in the fountain. He doubted there was actually a City Police crime here, as he waited for the 'come in' or whatever it would be, after he'd knocked. ]

[ Phil's propped up against the pillows in his bed, looking considerably healthier than he did upon his arrival. ]

Come in. [ He's had a steady stream of visitors so far, it's a little— strange. ]
