[ There's a man sitting in the ground by the fountain, his back against it: middle aged, in a suit, a badge pinned to his chest, and a very big gun in his lap.

He's also not moving and there's blood in the corner of his mouth, on his shoulder.

His eyes focus for a moment, and he manages a look of mild surprise. ] Boss? — [ a wet cough ] Does any S.H.I.E.L.D agent —?

[ Another breath, laboured, and he stills again. ]



[ ooc; Say hi to Agent Coulson. Replies will come after Bones and Roxas are done with him, all right? All right.

[ Phil's propped up against the pillows in his bed, looking considerably healthier than he did upon his arrival. ]

Come in. [ He's had a steady stream of visitors so far, it's a little— strange. ]

[captainfuckingmagic]

[ He does, glancing down at his book and the file they gave him. He doesn't usually do these, okay. ]

Hey, Ph-- Agent Coulson. You okay? I mean, apparently they weren't sure if you'd been like, stabbed, or something, so - hey!- they, uh, sent me down to check it out. [ Pause. OH right. He holds his hand out to the guy. ] Harry Lockhart, PI, but I mean, right now I'm just consulting for the police here in the City - they were all off... doing shit. Or, god, I really hope they weren't actually.

Anyway. You're okay? right? Like, you just fell and hit something and that's why the blood?

[debrief]

I'm better now.

[ So there's a police force. That is, apparently, busy but at least willing to investigate things proprio motu. He files that away for further considerations. ]

I didn't fall and hit anything. [ But he's still deciding in how far he's going to share with the class what happened. Probably not very much. That's classified are some of his favourite words sometimes. ]

[ He has to consider that for a second. ]

You didn't fall and hit anything. [ Okay, so, sheet. What does the sheet say? ] Were you injured upon arrival or just before showing up here? [ And hey, you know, no biggie on the handshake, Harry's just cooly pulled that back, no big, no big, back to business. He is looking Coulson over a little bit though, just because... He seems like the kind of person you pay attention to. ]

[debrief]

No. I didn't. [ Harry gets a bland smile for his troubles; something practiced that slides of Coulson's features easily. ] I was injured before arriving here.
