Okay... this is strange.

[Saya glances over her shoulder, then focuses on her device with fair alarm.] First the waitress this morning told me I must have a hollow leg whatever that means, and then when I tried to stand up my leg was all weird. [She reaches down and thumps on it, and it produces a lovely echo.]

Then someone asked if I felt under the weather and... [She pans the device up to a very dark raincloud that appears to be localized only in the few square feet above her head.]

What kind of a curse is this?

((OOC: why, a Simon Says curse, of course! Saya must follow all "orders" today, with everything being taken literally. Be horrible to her please!))

[Even if Setsuna could figure out what curse it is, he couldn't tell her anyway. Having noticed Saya while in flight he was going to land by her, but stops to hover around the raincloud instead.]

[Curiously, he reaches out to poke at it. It's just like those in cartoons, when a character is moody!]

[Saya glances up and watches Setsuna poke at the cloud. As he does, it starts raining on her.] Uh. I don't think it likes that...

[He flails to that. Sorry, sorry! Fine, maybe he can blow it away? He tries flapping his wings at it.]

[He giggles because the rain isn't so bad. Though by the time Setsuna suceeds in removing the raincloud Saya's been redressed by Karl. She's trying valiantly to cover herself up, but it's not very effective.]

...I don't like this curse. [ D: ]

[Saya blinks and looks down at herself and she's wearing...]

Whatever I wanted to do, it wasn't that. [ dootdoot ] Go back to being Saya again. [ A pause, then a quick addendum, ] In a bellydancing costume.

[Her moment of relief is over far too quickly as Saya (back to being Saya) looks down at herself again...]

KARL! [Her face turns a nice shade of red to match the outfit. What little there is of it.]

It looks like you're seeing the trees but missing the forest.

[Just. Y'know. Testing this theory.]

[Between the device and Saya's face, a sudden tree sprouts from the ground, from seedling to fully grown in seconds. She reaches around the significant trunk to grab her device again, and now she's very unhappy.]

You know what's going on, don't you?

[Oh. Oops. Somehow he didn't realise she would be so annoyed by finding herself suddenly surrounded by trees.]

Sorry. You don't see any trees?

[The trees disappear as quickly as they appeared, shrinking down around her until it's as if they were never there. He's pretty baffled she doesn't seem to have clicked yet. The answer seems pretty apparent to him.]

Well, whatever anyone says is happening to you becomes real. So, if I said... [Oh, hold on. Examples are bad.] Maybe it would be better if I didn't say anything.

[It's more the not knowing what's going on that's troubling. But she does relax somewhat, or at least stops scowling, when he explains.]

Oh. What a weird curse.

[She thinks for a second. Maybe this didn't have to be all bad...]

A hollow leg means you eat a lot. More than your stomach can hold, so the rest must be going into your hollow leg.

[The explanation is automatic, but Uhura frowns with concern.]

[Saya flushes at that. Her extreme eating is something of a source of embarrassment for her.] I... don't eat that much...

But yes, I'm okay. I think. I just don't really know what's going on.

[Saya's reasonably sure she gets the meaning, but as she glances back down at the device... her arm has turned into gold.]

[She gasps, and taps it. A metallic sound tings from her arm.]

Really? How did I get more than one? [She glances warily at the cloud. That can't be good.]

I guess so. It's a little scary, really. People can do whatever they want to me. [She needs nicer friends.]
