Okay... this is strange.

[Saya glances over her shoulder, then focuses on her device with fair alarm.] First the waitress this morning told me I must have a hollow leg whatever that means, and then when I tried to stand up my leg was all weird. [She reaches down and thumps on it, and it produces a lovely echo.]

Then someone asked if I felt under the weather and... [She pans the device up to a very dark raincloud that appears to be localized only in the few square feet above her head.]

What kind of a curse is this?

((OOC: why, a Simon Says curse, of course! Saya must follow all "orders" today, with everything being taken literally. Be horrible to her please!))

I live there. [Somewhat begrudgingly.]

That would explain it. I tend not to wander off by myself when I'm there. I usually stick by Nathan.

[She almost laughs, but not in a bad way.] I guess that's not a bad idea.

I'd rather not be found alone by Diva.

She's not as bad as some others... [Diva's been pretty benign comparatively.]

... She knows how to push my buttons.

Oh. [She does like to tease...] Can't you just get Nathan to stop her? [Chevalier politics, Saya is new at them.]

Isn't she his master?

...Is she? [So much Saya doesn't know about how these things work. And Nathan in particular is a mystery.] I don't really know everything about it.

He always calls her Queen.

... So you're as clueless as me?

I don't remember anything from before I arrived here. I only know what Karl told me. [And so her source is unreliable at best.] And that Diva and I look alike.

I see... I, personally, wouldn't trust Karl's world.

I wouldn't have to if anyone else told me anything. [Slightly irritated, yes. Having no memories sucks, and some guy's going to critique her methods for coping?] Besides, he's not entirely bad.

Hm. That is a problem.

And he has his moments, yes. Maybe it's just me he likes to tease.

[Relaxing instantly. Her temper isn't meant to be a quick one, but having no past makes her somewhat hypersensitive.] I don't think so. He's just like that.

He seems to take Nathan serious. Maybe I can get him to talk to Karl for you...?

That's nice of you. [She thinks? She doesn't have much reason to trust Nathan instead of Karl.] I'm not sure that will help, though. Karl already said he's not going to kill me yet because of Diva.

"Yet." I don't like the sound of that.

[Saya doesn't especially love it either, but there's a complication.]

I don't know. Maybe I'm a bad person and he's right to hate me. The only things I've remembered so far are pretty terrible.

That's certainly discouraging... Perhaps you'll start remembering the good things soon.
