The city is full of new and strange visitors, a rather influx of them.

A mother cat and her six kittens are rambling about the city. While this normally may not be anything of note, this cat and her kittens are special.

See, they teleport.

That's right.

Teleport.

So, that sandwich you were about to eat? Now has a kitten on it.

Is that a mewing you hear in your purse? Yes, because there is now a kitten in it.

What's that under your hat? A kitten? Yup.

And is that grey kitten eating a plate? Like chewing it and swallowing the pieces? And then starting on the tablecloth? Yup.

At least all the kittens are friendly and momma cat is around to rescue them if they get into too much trouble.

[Setsuna stops at the sound, and smiles after feeling velvet paws bat at his fingers. Instead, he waggles his fingers in the bag, encouraging the play.]

[Awww. Setsuna decides to play nice after that, but wants to attempt petting, first.]

[Toul has been around the City today, looking for perhaps another job she can apply for. She's been here for more than a month, but how short the days are--and how much people get done in them--still surprises her. She's carrying a bag of food she picked up to take home from the market--store, store, but it has food, so it must be a market--including some nice honey rolls. The amount of people around hasn't even bothered her. She likes seeing the City so full.]

[Something rustles in her bag.]

[She barely notices the added weight, but the noise does make her stop. And look around. Where is it coming from?]

[Rustle, rustle.]

[Well she certainly couldn't mistake that. She lifts her bag and looks down into it, confused.]

...Ah? I don't remember buying a kitten at the market. Where did you come from?

[He looks back up at her with all the puzzlement of a cute kitten can muster. She has kitty ears. Is she a kitty too?]

[Her own ears flick in response and she sets the bag down so she can lift the kitten out of it.] Oh kitten, aren't you the most adorable!

[She may not be a real kitty, but she does love animals.] Are you lost? I don't see your mother anywhere.

[Andrew's hard at work on something in his makeshift office, not particularly paying attention to his surroundings, fumbling blindly for his coffee cup as he does so. How could that possibly go wrong?]

[Well the fact that the coffee cup is a lot heavier than normal could help.]

[He's still not noticing that, eyes on the blueprints he's working on instead of the cup. He raises it to his lips...]

[He splutters and practically drops the coffee cup onto the desk, staring into it with surprise and a certain amount of disgust.]

[The coffee covered kitten walks across his paperwork and then sits and stares up at him.]

[He doesn't expect the kitten to reply, exactly, but he can't help questioning it, either.]
