[ Eventually, the bag opens and she reaches inside for him, pulling him out. She sets him down on the table and she sits and considers him. ]

[ Scissors in one hand. She considers him. ]

[ It's like being dissected all over again. An absolute nightmare. Oh, she will pay. Too bad threats delivered from teddies lose considerable impact. ]

[ Insane? Maybe she is, a little. She can accept that, has earned those scars. But she is nowhere near to Karl's level. ]

[ She puts all of the pieces into the bag, and leaves them there a while. She's gone off to prepare something outside, up on the roof of the buildings. She's gone for quite some time, leaving him to shriek. ]

[ She returns, and picks up the bag. It's another blind march up to the roof, but this time there is no emergence into light. ]

[ No. She has a trash can, oil-drum style, prepared. The chemical can easily strip down wires and chips. She doesn't think it will have any trouble with a teddy bear. ]

[ The wait is worse than the cutting. The chill anticipation. The dreadful unspoolings of an antic imagination. He doesn't know what else is in store when she picks the bag up. But it can't be good. ]

[ He gives one final impressive scream before he's dumped into the fizzling solution. Bye bye, Teddy. ]
