Because of the taboos surrounding anal sex, I find there is much people don't know about it, not to mention a great deal of misinformation on the subject. I thought I would offer some advice so that anyone engaging in the process will have a more enjoyable experience.

Adequate preparation is essential. Be sure to stimulate the anus beforehand, through rimming or gentle fingering or other contact. Making the sphincters relax will greatly reduce any discomfort you might feel. Relaxation in general is key. Take deep breaths, and take your time. Lubricant is also extremely important for reducing friction and making penetration easier. Your lubricant should be water or silicone based when using a latex condom. I personally recommend silicone based.

As for the sex itself, positions where your knees are bent and drawn into your chest: kneeling, lying on your back or on your side, will lead to more comfortable sex, or will be a good position to start from. This position will straighten out the anal canal and the pubo-rectal sling will draw back to allow smoother entry.

Whether your partner is male or female, massage or otherwise stimulate their genitals during intercourse. After you've achieved mutual orgasm, when exiting your partner's anal canal, allow your partner's orgasm to terminate and their rectum to relax before withdrawing.

A healthy rectum will contain fecal matter only when the bowel is full, so in fact, there is little need for anal douching. If you do feel the need to do so, only use plain, clean water at room temperature. Bear in mind, however, that douching can irritate the anal lining, even if one only uses water. Using another liquid will make the risk of irritation greater.

I began my military career in the midst of a war, and I was the commanding general of the armed forces by the time it ended.

I'm not overly concerned with the lack of a military. [Lately, he hasn't been pleased with his own superiors, and he's not looking to replace them or start his own military. When he's thinking of leaving the army back home, there would be little point.]
