That's when it twists to cruelty. When it corrupts. Turns to hatred and destruction.

But it doesn't have to be like that. That's when you just punch them for being jerks!

Punch them or ignore them, the damage is completed. Often it sticks right in to the bone. And you can't explain to the 'jerks' what they did wrong when they were simply being themselves.

It's hard to move on when you've invested so much of yourself into someone else. Or just the idea of them. You define yourself by their presence in your life.
