Is it normal for so many people to show up so suddenly? I know people come and go a lot, but it feels like someone's just opened a gate somewhere and suddenly everyone's flooding into the City.

Is this a curse, or are we just lucky in having so many new people all at once?

Oh, really? That's a real shame, it's kind of exciting seeing everyone just showing up. Although maybe it's for the best, it does feel a little crowded.

I'm fairly confident that it's a curse. I've seen this happen before. It should end after the weekend.

That seems like a pretty dumb curse to me. Drag everyone here just to send them away again before they've even gotten a chance to see the place.

I think it's more a curse for us than for them. The last time this happened someone unpleasant came from my world and threatened friends of mine who couldn't protect themselves.

...Oh. Well if someone like that showed up, then it could potentially be a very nasty curse. I hope no one I know turns up, in that case - I didn't think about that before.

From what I've gathered, this place is just called "The City." It's such a frightfully dull name. Rapture's a far prettier one, even if it does sound a little too Biblical for my tastes. Is that where you're from? Sounds like some small southern Bible belt town. Rapture, Alabama or something. No offense.
