I just thought I ought to announce to everyone that I'm engaged. Twice, actually, although they'll be entirely separate weddings when they happen, to Bruce Banner, and to the Hulk. I think we'll all be very happy, really, hopefully you as well, Serrure. I'll be happy to be your third parent.

I've a second announcement too, although it's not quite as certain as the first one. Bruce, Lindast, I'm fairly certain, or rather, I think I might be pregnant. Although I'm not sure whose it is. I'm sure we'll work it out.

[ ..../slam ] Right, yes, it totally was, I must have.... mentally blocked it, I hear the brain can do that with negative experiences - you and Bruce are fine, but I don't accidentally want to be squeezed to death or explode via size differential. [ actually, and now he's all considering the possibilities so h/o, there might be a way to do that without anyone (probably tony) dying? or something. he's paranoid. ]

I'm starting to think my main worry wasn't actually a worry but something else easily mistaken for worry: mild excitement.

Possibly. Against some level of judgement I didn't realize I had.

Oh, good! We'll schedule out a date, once I've talked to Bruce. Or the Hulk.

Bruce. Bruce is a better, more articulate conversationalist. Less misunderstanding.

Perhaps you ought to talk to him.

I was just saying, out of the two on your short list there, talking to the green one isn't gonna be that helpful.

He understands more than people give him credit for. And simple concepts at that. He usually takes less convincing. So it's a tossup.

Yeah, that just makes it feel like it's a sneaky way to make Bruce do things he'd normally have somewhat more informed opinions on.

It's not Bruce, though, is it? It's two separate situations. If you'd rather the situation with Bruce, then I've no choice but to talk to him, haven't I? It's not as if I'm conflating one agreeing with the other agreeing. It doesn't work that way.
