What the hell is this?!!

[ The impressive shout emerges, not from a man, but a teddy-bear. Lying on the pavement, kicking his tiny arms and legs feebly. Hi, Karl. ]

Of all the pathetic, worthless, idiotic -- !

[ A stream of profanities. Such a mouth Mr. Teddy has. Not PG-rated at all. ]

[OOC: Karl is a teddy-bear. Lol. Have at him! ]

[Her head snaps up at the sound of Karl's voice and she looks frantically around, not connecting it with the bear in her arms. A discontent sound that she lacks the words to express rumbles through her throat.]

[And then she takes off running, holding the bear by the ear.]

[ OUCHOUCH HIS EAR YOU'RE GOING TO TEAR IT OFF D: ]

[ He can't do much but be dragged along, a manhandled plaything. ]

Stop -- stop -- WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!

[The shouting does nothing to quell her harried state, but it does connect that the sound is coming from the bear. So she does stop -- and starts shaking the bear in a violent panic. Stop being bad!]

[ Congratulations, Karl. You made things a million times worse. ]

[ ... Also ARGH STOP IT! IT'S NOT HIS FAULT HE'S BAD! HE'S STITCHED THAT WAY! ]

DOWN.

[Put him down, he says? It's not clear whether she understands the words or just gets sick of shaking, but Saya does throw the bear to the ground with a considerable amount of strength.]

[Then she leans down to inspect the damage. Any loose threads she can pull?]

[ Ooof. ]

[ He hits the ground with a little thump, back-first. Legs and arms waving helplessly -- a turtle tipped onto its back. When she studies him, a chill creeps in (how do teddy-bears even feel chills?). His voice is tremulous and tiny. ]

...w-w-what are you doing...?

[Hmm. She pokes at the bear's eye, his neck, his tummy. Nothing there, really.]

[She picks at the hem holding a leg together, trying to pry apart the stitches, her expression entirely innocent. She sees little difference between playing and destruction.]

[ In that moment, childishly destructive, sweetly malicious, she's so much like Diva it's uncanny. The terror is overlapped by fascination -- she'd be so easy to mold in this state. Reintegrated with her true kind, made to embrace her true nature. ]

[ So easy to love. So easy to ruin. ]

[ Unfortunately, the only thing getting ruined is Karl. ]

Stop that!

[ D: ]

[She does stop, startling back, eyelids fluttering. Her brow winkles as she seems to consider what to do with Mister Bear.]

[At last, she picks him up and kisses his nose. Apology, or whim? Never mind the moody amnesiac Queen.]

[ The noise he makes is a gutteral whine. ]

[ From violence to kisses in a heartbeat? Just like Diva. He squirms unsuccessfully in her grip. His glassy button-eyes can't convey much. But it they did, they'd be full of anguish. And traces of a kindling captivation. ]

[Saya doesn't mind that noise, actually. At least it's not yelling with that terrible voice.]

[She gathers the bear in her arms like an infant, then starts walking. Her pace is quick, deliberate -- she has a destination in mind, now. Bwahahaha]

[ The squirming redoubles. But it's no use. He's a prisoner -- a furry hostage. ]

[ Where is she taking him? D: ]

[Saya meanders a bit, unfamiliarity taking its toll on her route if not her determination. At last she makes a satisfied sound, and quickens her steps.]

[She's gone to the fountain. She sets the bear on the ledge and drapes over it, dangling her fingertips in the water. She edges Karl closer to the dropoff, holding him angled over the water by a furry arm.]

[Then the freezes, looking down at the water. At her reflection.]

[The teddy bear is forgotten as he dangles on the precipice of watery doom. Saya's eyes widen, shimmering with unshed tears. She reaches down and slaps the water's surface, ruining the mirror effect.]

[ He's already established that his yelling agitates her. No, not the yelling. His voice. She probably recognizes it on a subconscious level. A calculating part of his mind takes this as an encouraging sign. The Saya he wants is still in here somewhere. Except... ]

[ Except that's the least of his troubles right now. ]

[ Dangling pendulously over the sloshing water, he tries to be very still and quiet. To not startle her and get dropped. But he can't help it. The noise he makes is impossibly high-pitched and alarmed. ]

Saya...

[sangreine]

[The voice causes Saya to stand abruptly, bring the bear with her. But she's still flushed with upset, and so she once more takes off running.]

[But this time, she dropped the bear and leaves him behind.]

[Will Karl bounce into the water or end up on dry land? Like a flipped coin he turns end over end in the air.]

[ No. No. ]

[ NONONONONO. ]

[ He lands in the water with a little plop. His shriek fades into incoherent gurgling. Splashthrashsplutter!!! ]

[ Teddy-bear overboard! ]
