[Theo is walking out of a shop with a sandwich in one hand and a soda in the other. The hand holding the sandwich is stretched out awkwardly as he's trying to keep Jasper from eating it. The damn thing might be dead but that wasn't stopping it from trying to nibble on everything.

Paying more attention to the rat and not where he's going, he accidentally bumps into Charlie.]

[Charlie tenses when she's bumped into, skin warming just a few degrees more. It's an old habit from before her time in the City, even if that was over a year ago.

She turns to look at whoever bumped into her and when she recognizes them, she smiles.]

[The skin warming isn't even noticed. He's cool to the touch normally so any one else seems warmer to him.

He blinks at her, confused.]

[Saya's in the room Charlie so graciously put her in, sitting on the bed (which she made the best she could, she's not really used to these things but she made an attempt!) and looking at the pretty paper left for her.]

[She smiles at it, traces over the designs with her finger. Then the turns it over. She can't really read it, but it's so beautiful that she's just admiring it for now.]

[Charlie's mildly flustered when she arrives home. Flustered. Annoyed. But that's outside bullshit thanks karl. So she leaves it there. Home is her refuge and she has someone to check on.

When she knocks on Saya's door, she's accompanied by Gwaine, the long-haired daschund puppy and Petrichor who just wants to be where the people are. Like The Little Mermaid only more fir and less being in water.

Anyway. Knock, knock, Saya. Charlie's at your door.]
