Why are you getting married?

[That... question kind of came from out of left field.]

[Yes...yes, it did. Charlie doesn't hesitate much, however. Just a brief pause as she considers her answer.]

Because I love Merlin. Mainly that. And because I can't back home. I've been able to do a lot here that is impossible for me where I'm from. While I'm here, I may as well make the most of the time I have and what better way to do this than with the person I care about the most here.

An interesting perspective. I generally oppose marriage, but when you frame it in the context of exerting your free will and opposing the rules of where you come from, I'm slightly more inclined to think it's a reasonable idea.
