Hullo, you lot. I was wondering--it's Halloween, tomorrow, and it's my very first. So I thought, possibly, it might be interesting to know: what sort of things do you think are scary? Any sort of scary, I don't mind. I don't even mind if it's sort of intangible, I'm just generally interested.

I was being facetious. In this place, I'm not putting my fears on the network. [Not any more than they're already out there.] Especially not the way this month has been going.

Well... I get scared when I think about the fifteen million kids who die of starvation every year or the forty-six percent of the lakes in the United States that're too polluted to support life, but that's all back at home.

...And probably not the kind of thing you're asking about.

That is incredibly intangible. But why not, it is a fear. A very giving sort of fear. Why are you scared of it if it doesn't affect you?

Honestly? I think that the intangible things're almost always more frightening than the tangible ones.

And things like that--starvation and pollution and violence and all of that--are still going on at home, and just because I don't get to go back there doesn't make it any less home.

I guess the idea of another curse turning me against my friends.

No, just me. Two of them were trying to fight me and get it under control, but that didn't work well for them.
