'm just gonna chalk this up to some future thing I don't get, but whatever it is, it ain't funny.

[ It's audio simply because Bucky doesn't quite want to broadcast I got tortured by HYDRA and all I got was this lousy t-shirt. He still has to go to work though, has to be a normal human being for once even if all he wants to do is set the damn thing on fire. Whether or not he's out of it is optional the mood he's in. ]

[ He ends up ruffling Steve's hair before pushing up and making a grab for his coffee again. He wants it to be midnight already, so he can forget this. Just like he's supposed to be forgetting everything else. ]

[ Bucky ends up watching him. He kind of wishes he could call in sick, follow Steve to bed and curl up against him. He kind of wishes he could be honest. ]

[Steve looks over, unsnapping the outer armor off and leaving only his blue shirt]

[ Gaze flickering up, his head tilted in silent question. ]
