[ eventually simon gave up on just wandering around. he'd only been here a few days the last time. he'd hardly gotten his bearings. so he resorts to walking up to the nearest door and ringing the bell.

he vaguely remembered the address. hopefully he'd be able to get directions there. ]

[ Luckily for Simon, Ariadne is in the kitchen watching Biscuit the kitten follow Rhada the obese car around. She's not sure who would be ringing the doorbell, but she goes to answer it anyway, blocking off the door with her foot in case any of the animals try to escape. ]

[ he's looking at the cats not at her. hello kittes. ]

I think I'm lost.

[ Biscuit, who is as orange as Simon's jumpsuit, comes toddling over and looks up at him with big eyes. ]

Lost? [ Ariadne quickly scoops up Biscuit, who continues to look at Simon. Well, if he's lost, she should help him. It's better than having him hang out on the doorstep. ] Come on in. I'll see what I can do.

[ bypassing the chair, reaching down to pet all of the animals. ]

Right. We've got a lot.

[ Pancake the corgi is absolutely excited because NEW PERSON and attempting to both sniff Simon and run around all at once. The cats are, well... cats, and Waffle the bird is sitting nearby making kissing noises. ]

The dog belongs to one of my roommates and the large cat belongs to another one of them. The kitten and the bird are mine, though.

[ stepping over pancake to offer her a handshake. because that's what you do in these situatios, right? ]
