Ten Things I Worry About:
1. War. Specifically nuclear war, but war in general qualifies, I guess.
2. Hurting someone.
3. My thoughts.
4. What if everything we experience is actually just in our heads and in reality nothing is real.
5. Reality and what defines it. Is it different for different people?
6. What happens after we die.
7. Dying a virgin.
8. Is it really important to wear matching socks? Who decided that? Is that completely arbitrary? Who decides what "matches" anyway?
9. Being stuck in the City forever.
10. Making lists because what if they're not actually the top ten things I worry about and there's something else I want to put on it but the list is already made?
[Cursed with Listmania, of course, and not thrilled about this being shared.]

That's... a remarkably good point, actually. Although maybe it's a layered type of thing -- I'm just an invention in someone else's head, and then other people're just inventions in my head, and so on.

Okay.
I'm real.

[Maybe not a polite thing to ask, but it's a sad thing to be concerned about.]
Socks're tricky. There's a time and a place for mismatching.
no subject
[Why can't he talk to people like a normal human being.]
I think probably guys have it a little easier with the sock thing, because mostly all we get is, you know, black socks, grey socks, brown socks, blue socks, all the boring colors that kind of blend together anyway. But I can imagine it being a legitimate problem for women, who have more options and thus more opportunities for mismatching or not mismatching, depending on the situation at hand.
no subject
[Too subtle? Not subtle enough? Bad idea?]
Well, yeah, but then no one really cares if your socks don't match. If I mismatch some of my cute socks, it looks like a fashion statement instead of an accident.
no subject
[Too subtle. Way too subtle.]
Yeah, because you're allowed to wear colors and have fun with how you look. Or at least, more allowed to do it than guys are.
[Not that he's... ever paid attention to those rules, considering the variety of loud colors he's wearing at the moment.]

[Sigh. Why's she trying to offer to take Ginsberg's virginity anyway? Just because the person she wants is unattainable doesn't mean she should go around deflowering virgins.]
What's keeping guys from having fun with the way they look?

In regards to number seven, I can help you with that.
As for ten, couldn't you just revise it?
no subject
In regards to number four, I can totally believe that.
In regards to number seven, that's very nice of you, but I'm not sure why you'd offer.
As for ten, yeah, I could. That's why most of these worries aren't rational.
no subject
And because why not? You're cute. I like the mustache and hair.
no subject
[Sudden? Random? Suspicious? All of these are good words.]
... premature.
