[Who can resist a carnival especially at night? Certainly not the Doctor who appears on screen apparently eating what looks like cotton candy. He thinks it’s all brilliant as he walks by some rides, people screaming in fun with their hands up in the air. There’s nothing odd about this at all. There’s a curious part of him that wonders if with all this activity if Alonso is around.

He appears distracted stopping by a haunted house and peering at the entrance, which resembles a black and white hypnosis circle. It’s enough to make a normal person dizzy.]

[She tugs at his hand leading him to the carve pumpkin display. Her eyes drift towards one of the pumpkins that is carved in a really odd shape.]

Um. No, not really. What about you?

[The Doctor looks at the pumpkins and is a little uncomfortable at the shape of one of them. He looks between it and Rose's arse, while muttering.]

Kind of got lucky the other night.

[She looks at another pumpkin that has a cat carving unaware of what he's said. She looks back at him.]

[Again, he's trying to focus on a spot in her forehead.]

[Her eyes are looking at him thinking he's being funny again.]

[She looks back at the pumpkins noting that one has a flower design.]

[She gives him a small sad smile.]

[Her smile turns a little bright.]

Ohhhhh, right. Of course! Yes, I just need to make the old girl presentable.

You really must be making loads of repairs for it to be taking this long.

[She wonders now if it's just a stall tactic on his part and that he'll just take off without telling her. Her attention turns back to the pumpkins and she's silent.]

Every time I try to move it around here, something interferes with it's navigation circuits and everything overloads. It all goes from bad to worse.

[She looks at her feet for a moment.]

You could move around. At least until you find a way out. There's still other things to see. What about asking your other self for help?

Oi. Chin up, Rose. We're at a carnival.

[Hands her the cotton candy.]

[She takes it and looks at him with an appreciating grin. She can't help it if the thought of losing him forever hurts.]

[She leans over and kisses his cheek before taking a bite.]

[She notices and offers him some cotton candy.]

[Waves off the cotton candy.]

Too much sugar in those. My hearts will race.
