[Who can resist a carnival especially at night? Certainly not the Doctor who appears on screen apparently eating what looks like cotton candy. He thinks it’s all brilliant as he walks by some rides, people screaming in fun with their hands up in the air. There’s nothing odd about this at all. There’s a curious part of him that wonders if with all this activity if Alonso is around.

He appears distracted stopping by a haunted house and peering at the entrance, which resembles a black and white hypnosis circle. It’s enough to make a normal person dizzy.]

[His eyes have gone up and down from her chest as she's said this.]

[As he's trying to explain himself, his hand accidentally smacks his teacup off the table.]

[Rose frowns and glances at the spilled cup on the floor. The waiter rushes over to clean it up.]

Blimey you've gotten clumsy.

Yeah, no. Just not my day.

[He goes to help but is shooed away. As he tries to sit down, he misses the mark and lands in a heap.]

[She gets up and crouches down looking him over. It worries her.]

Are you okay? Maybe we should get you to the TARDIS?

No! I'm fine.

[He tries to stand, and hits his head against the table.]

Ow! Who put a table there?

[She reaches for his arm to help him.]

It's always been there. You're having an episode. My flat then?

Ah! Flat! Um. Where's the chair? Chair's better.

[She grips his hand and guides him carefully back to the nearest chair. The waiter approaches with a cold compress. He offers it to the Doctor and leaves.]

He's really working for a tip. Does it hurt?

[She presses the cold compress against his head.]
