[Who can resist a carnival especially at night? Certainly not the Doctor who appears on screen apparently eating what looks like cotton candy. He thinks it’s all brilliant as he walks by some rides, people screaming in fun with their hands up in the air. There’s nothing odd about this at all. There’s a curious part of him that wonders if with all this activity if Alonso is around.

He appears distracted stopping by a haunted house and peering at the entrance, which resembles a black and white hypnosis circle. It’s enough to make a normal person dizzy.]

[He turns his attention to the tea.]

[She's slowly putting the pieces together.]

The TARDIS. It must have connected with this network and picked up a virus. The scanner was showing all sorts of weird things.

[Of course he's not talking about the scanner, but it could explain at least one thing.]

[She finishes her tea and then it all clicks.]

Naaaaaaaah. The TARDIS has been really...you know. The holograms were all me.

[She sets her mug down.]

No. Like I said, it popped up on the scanner. Must have been a virus.

[Rose rolls her eyes and gets to her feet.]

What did I say? I couldn't make sense of it.

[She grabs his mug as well and then returns shortly with them filled. She offers his mug back.]

Oh. Sorry. Thank you.

[He drinks again.]

Don't apologize, yeah? You haven't done anything wrong.

[She takes a sip.]

[Now he really starts to drink, but doesn't reply.]

[She watches him concerned.]

Did I say something wrong?

No! No. Everything's fine. Really good tea.

[Her attention turns back to her mug.]

Yeah, I suppose it is. Guess you were right.

I usually am.

[He grins at her.]

Sometimes.

[She gives him a small sad smile.]

Yeaaaaaah.

So then you still think you're right about my happy ending?

[He was drinking his tea as she said this. Now he's spitting it out.]
