[Rose presses the button and the doors open.]

[They arrive at the floor.]

Oh yeah? Have you ever gotten a ticket?

[Rose takes a step cautiusly while still hanging onto the Doctor. As they exit the lift, Rose nods over to a dark brown door with the number '11'.]

Over there.

Never got a ticket in all my lives.

[They arrive at the door.]

Lucky.

[She fishes out the key from her pocket and opens the door.]

[Helps her through the door, and takes a sniff.]

Is that old pizza I smell?

[Rose takes a sniff vaugely smelling something.]

Blimey, nothing gets by you.

Hungry? You can help yourself to whatever is in the fridge.

[She knows it probably won't be all that much. She takes a step towards the living room and winces at the pain. Her eyes are set on the couch completely forgetting about the opened books on her coffee table along with her hand written notes.]

[The Doctor helps her towards the couch. He spots the books and notes and pauses.]

You didn't have anchovies did you?

Maybe. Why?

[Rose is too focused on the Doctor to notice the "Void Particles and You" book open to a chapter explaining the different levels.]

Ugh! I hate anchovies!

[He puts her on the couch and looks around.]

Very homey. Do you have visitors around?

I think I might have one with banana somewhere.

[Rose settles back on the couch.]

Thank you. Nope. You're sort of the first one.

Almost reminds me of your old place.

[Wanders around thinking about the books on the table. He can guess where she got them from. He mutters to himself.]

Uncle has some explaining to do.

Mum's yeah. I guess it sort of does. Bedroom's not the same though. I kind of miss my old one. Reckon it's probably got a spider's nest by now.

[She laughs and then notices something from out the window. She blinks for a moment.]

Doctor, look over there.

What is it?

It looks like snow. This never happens. How are you gonna explain that?

[She looks at him.]

[He sees the snow.]

I...that's...that's impossible.

[Goes over to the window.]

It was blazing earlier.

It's a curse.

[She says it in a matter o fact tone.]

What? I'm sorry, what?

A curse. I mean look at those flakes over there, yeah? How else would you explain it.

[Rose seizes the opportunity and takes the books off the table to hide them behind the pillows behind her that decorate her sofa.]

You'd better hope so. In my experience, earthquakes and sudden weather changes usually mean the end of a world.

[She frowns feeling a little uneasy. He has to be kidding.]

At least the stars aren't going out. And snow's always been pretty good. Remember Christmas dinner?

How can I forget? Thing is, I've been scanning and analyzing this place and it's more an island than a planet. I don't know.
