Here we are. Nice cup of tea. That'll put you in better spirits.

[Rose is glaring daggers at him. She notices the footprints and it only fuels her anger. A glance at the mug of tea and she reaches for it.]

[There's some sarcasm to her tone as she takes a sip.]

Everything there's just badly placed. Would've fallen sooner or later.

No it wouldn't have. I had things placed certain places where they would never have fallen to begin with.

[She's glaring at him. She's far from happy right now.]

[Finally sees the footprints. He starts talking fast.]

Anyway, yeah, just stay off your foot for the rest of the day. Don't unless you absolutely have to. You'll be right as rain in the morning.

[She finishes her tea and looks at him. She's slightly calmer now. Maybe it's the tea or his expression.]

[She gives him a small smile before he's out of sight. With him gone she reaches for the books behind her pillow and opens one deciding to read for the moment. The mess could wait until tomorrow when her ankle was better.]
