[ Clary's video is a little shaken like she can't quite keep her hand steady. When it trembles, it shows off more of her hiding place - the little cupboard she's wedged herself in. Her arms are covered in runes but she hasn't had time to glamour them or hide them well and they show up stark against her skin. Blood trickles weakly down her temple and her eyes are wide but her voice comes out calm. ]
This is madness, I don't know what's --. I hate boats. [ She's not going to kill anyone, she's not. She still dreams of Valentine and the way she'd torn through the hull of his ship with a thought. She could do it now, but that scares her more than the man trying to find her. She's being hunted and somewhere in the fray she's lost her weapon. She can't find her friends. It's hard enough to not panic instinctively. Now she simply breathes out and presses a hand to her head. ] Jace? Mae? Are you on board? Are you okay? Please tell me if you are and where you are. And Jem, Jem if you're here too let me know. We need to --. [ Stick together.
Clary freezes when she hears a noise outside and the camera dips to her waist as she presses her ear to the door. There's nothing for a moment before she's whispering. ] I have to go. Please be safe. Please.
( ooc: so I'm npc'ing Clary's attacker and after this video she's likely to start running again. If you'd like to run into her feel free. )

[ Video ]
Clary! Where are you? Are you hurt? Is there so-- [ The shot goes out of focus, the image shaking as he looks around him, as if he's heard someone approaching. ] I'll find you.
[ Video ]
[ It comes a minute or two later, her feet pounding against the floor as she runs. ] Oh god Jace, are you okay? Please tell me you're okay.
[ Her breath is hard and heavy and she kind of sounds like she wants to burst into tears but this is pretty much the only thing that keeps her going. ] I don't know where I am. [ Skidding round a corner, the feed dipping again. ] I can't stay in one place, he keeps finding me.
[ Video ]
[ It's taking every he has not to visibly show how worried he is for her, and then he's not convinced he's pulling it off. ] No, you need to keep moving, unless you find somewhere with only one entrance that you can block and defend, you can't risk it.
[ He's already moving, bent low as he shifts from one thing to hide behind to another, distracted, but between the two of them, he's got the better chance of winning if he comes up against whoever's after them. ]
[ Video ]
[ There are stairs to her left and Clary throws herself through the door, skidding against the ground. ] I can't find anyone.
[ Video ]
I don't think anyone's going home, though, not unless they were planning to move into a prison cell. [ He's moving, winding his way around the ship, but there's no one in sight. ] Have you run into anyone? Besides whoever it is chasing you.
[ Video ]
[ Now she's out near a main foyer area, her head turning to try and figure out where she should go next. ] I hate our luck.
[Video]
His video is carried high as he runs down the corridor.]
You have runes.
Do you have anything you can use as a weapon?
[He doesn't hearing the fear in her face. It is too much like Tessa.]
[Video]
[ But she'd wanted to talk to Jace first and then this had happened. Clary's response comes minutes later when she's sneaking down a corridor, her face pinched and her breath a little ragged. ]
But I wasn't sure. I haven't been a Shadowhunter for very long. [ Her back presses against a wall as she hears movement. Her voice drops to a whisper. ] Where are you? Are you okay?
Re: [Video]
[There is a pause while Jem stands silently in the shadows and lets someone go past.]
I'm okay. I will find Clary. You shouldn't be alone.
[Video]
[ She goes to say something else when whoever's been following her steps out in front of her and makes to grab her. Her device goes sliding out of her hands but she's quicker now, has had some training and she tries to move as fast as she can to duck out of the way. ]
Re: [Video to action]
He see's her red hair first and launches himself at her attacker, aiming a strike at their shoulders to get their attention away from Clary.]

Jem, duck.

Is he -- I didn't ... [ Please don't let him be dead. ]

He's still alive [He reasures her.] Do you see any where we could store him so he can't come after you again when he wakes up?
[He needs to be practical before he can take the time to make sure she is okay.]

[ She twists round the corner and nods, coming back. ] We could put him in one, lock the door I guess. I tried to ... I tried to tell him the notes must've been a lie but he just wouldn't listen.
[ Frowning as she moves to help him lift the man. ] Thank you. For coming for me.

video;
On the bright side, I've got a gun? Is that a bright side? I mean, bullets ricochet and this hallway is really narrow and as soon as this is over I think we should all take a holiday to Aruba or something. Can you steer a boat? I can't - maybe we can find someone who can.
[There's a a creaking noise behind her and Mae jumps a little, looking back and finding nothing.] Ah, okay. Rambling. The ship is actualy groaning at my rambling. Clary - stay safe. I don't know where I am, but I'll try to get to you, somehow.
video;
[ She doesn't know if a gun's good, Clary's not really sure where she stands on the murdering front but. ] Jem helped me get rid of the guy following me. Wait, get rid of sounds like -- he's unconscious. Where are you?
video;
[She almost staggers with the weight of that truth. She doesn't. She does not want to die. Not today, not in the City, not now and not like this. She stops with a pained grimmace, before regaining focus and optimism. As best as she can.] Can we meet up? I have no idea if anyone's actually following me or not but this hallways sucks and I don't like being alone.
video;
[ Shouldering a door open even though she has no idea where Mae could be. ] I'll find you.
video;
[She will keep on walking. In all honestly, the gun doesn't help her feel safer, because it's weighing down on her shoulders, the knowledge that if she takes it out of her bag and pulls the safety off, a stupid scare or mistake might end in tears and blood and murder. Conclusion, she needs something to hit with. Maybe a broom, or a bat.
She wishes she'd asked Stiles for a bat, if he even have them in spares.] Anyway yeah, yes - we'll find each other.
video;
[ Because she keeps thinking of Valentine, of Jace and Simon and the panic and pain they have in their lives. She wants to close her eyes and curl into a ball and give up because it hurts, because she's never going to heal from what he did to them. ] Okay, okay keep talking. Tell me stuff. I'm going to do circuits of the halls.
video;
[She turns the corner and finds herself facing down another hallway, less spooky than the previous one.] How are we not running into more people?
video;
[ She pushes towards another flight of stairs, out of breath but urgent in her movements. ]
