052 x 520 // video // FORWARD DATED dragons
[[ooc; Dated forward because weekends are no longer actually great times for me to tag anymore, go figure.]]
[Carla is definitely barbecuing baby dragons. This is absolutely a fact, the large glass doors of her flat looking out onto the ocean are open while she works on the back patio. She has a little lizard skewered on a knife, rotating it lazily over the flames of a small grill.
She is recording this for posterity.]
I've never eaten dragon before.
[And she has eaten a number of disgusting creatures.]
What do you think, Peanut?
[The puppy is at her feet, nibbling away, tail wagging. Carla takes this as a sign it's delicious. She pulls the second little dragon back from the fire, examining it thoughtfully before she works off a leg and nibbles off the meat.]
It tastes alright. [But then again she would eat anything, filthy zombie wretch.] But...
[She frowns as she continues eating. Pausing for a moment to cough up a smoke ring uncomfortably.]
[Peanut, on the other hand, belches up a full mouthful of fire which causes Carla to jerk awkwardly out of the way.]
Fuck.

Did Peanut just breathe out flames?
no subject
[Little sister is not quite whining. But. Really. Yes, her dog is belching flames.]
no subject
Perhaps you ought to keep him in the oven? For the time being.
[ Not a trace of sarcasm. He's quite serious. ]
no subject
He'll melt it.
[ She has him out of the flat, and he is melting the sand on the beach. ]
no subject
Not considering keeping the dragons as a temporary pet.
[ He has. He's planning to present it to Diva. ]
no subject
When else was I going to get to eat one?
[ Although she's a tad exasperated with the experiment. ]
no subject
[ He perks up. ]
If one of the dragons in my menagerie grows wings [ And doesn't chomp its owner in half ] you could fly around on its back.

[This got weirdly affectionate all of a sudden. Gross.]

You could, and you do. But I imagine a dragon would be a different experience. Think of all the buildings you could get it to breathe fire on from on high.
[ Fun times, man. ]
no subject
I would burn it all.
[Maybe it's best not to give her that power.]
no subject
I know you would. It would be interesting to watch. Or more than watch.
[ There's something so cleansing about destruction on an enormous scale. ]
no subject
[Because she is bad at sharing.]
no subject
[ This would be considerably more entertaining. ]
[ And gorier. ]
