--ome on, you piece of crap. [ Even if you don't know her, Leslie sounds more than a little stressed out. Her voice even sounds a bit tight but if anyone asks, she'll blame that on the whole suddenly in an unfamiliar fountain in an even more unfamiliar city thing.

She sighs and then there's just the chatter of the people near the fountain for a moment before she realizes she got her device to work. Finally. ] I really hope you guys can hear this because this is all the warning you're gonna get: when I find you, your asses are mine. [ Apparently she thinks this is only going to be heard by a couple very specific people. ] Kidnapping isn't cool, even if it's an attempt to cheer someone up. Especially then because, surprise, it doesn't work. In fact, it just kinda pisses them off.

That happened to me once, but it was a curse and it wasn't anyone from the City.

So yeah, there's a hospital here. You're a doctor?

I can't tell if that's supposed to be comforting or not. [ Either way, it really isn't. ]

Nope. EMT. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't brought to some place that had no way of caring for injured or sick people.

Sort of? I avoided most serious things in the time I've been stuck here. Anyway, there's loads of people who can take care of anyone who needs the help; doctors, of course, then you've got other ways too. Magic, you know. What's an EMT?

Right. [ None of that's the same as a hospital, though. ] It stands for emergency medical technician. Also known as a paramedic?

You'll want to talk to Dr Chase, then, I reckon he knows loads more about any of that than I ever could.

I think I've got most of them covered. Any others I think of I'll just direct towards my friend when he gets here. [ Or Natasha, though she might save most of them for Kelly, even if he hasn't been here as long. She trusts him and knows what he tells her will be the truth. ] Thanks, though.
